We sat at the bar, played electronic poker and had a great experience all around. What really stands out is the staff--they actually get to know you, which makes the place feel personal and welcoming. And the chips (aka fries) are unreal: ultra-thin, somewhere between a potato chip and a French fry, and totally addictive.

Asked another waitress for 1 water with lemon- she showed up with five waters for the table and no Lemon. She did not check on us once. We were flagging down other waitresses for helping and then those waitresses would just go to her and tell her what we wanted. They were standing around watching the game instead of getting the things that were being requested from the tables. I had to get up and walk in the kitchen myself to get a refill on my coffee. My Coke never got refilled at all I felt bad leaving only a $10 tip. But honestly, I over tipped. It was $158 ticket and she should have made a $40 tip had she been a good waitress. I'm tired of over tipping for shitty service from now on the tip will match the service. Even though I was generous this time for the service received

We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.

Came here for UFC and might be my new go to spot to catch the PPV cards. Was going to D&B prior…read more Didn't know what to expect and glad to see they have plenty of seating. The seating would say is a bit off considering it surrounds the dance for. Well I mean for fights at least. But of course it was designed that way for when it turns into a "club." But we sat close to the bar since it was a bit livelier there. No cover charge so that's always good. Our sever was very attentive , even though I feel bad that I don't drink anymore, but bought my friend a few drinks. Event though I don't drink they do have a really good selection of beers that if I still did drink, I would definitely be happy with. The food is whatever. A bIt overpriced for what you get but it's expected considering. The size of the place , so they have to make up somewhat I imagine for how much they are paying for the joint. Still stayed a bit after the fight since they started playing music, more people were coming in afterwards. So I'm sure it gets popping, especially considering they have an upstairs dance floor. I'll definitely be coming back more for fights and even with friends to hang out to play pool or bring my gf to go dancing . Aside from the food prices, my first experience was really cool and plan on going back more often.

Since there were 10 of us, I made a res to be sure we could be seated in time. However, when we arrived, there were no other patrons, so we were excited to have it to ourselves. The server started off a bit awkward, bringing only silverware for 6 and skipping people as he took orders. We ordered appetizers, which did not arrive until half of us had finished our meal. When the entrees began to arrive ( smash burgers, chili dogs, salads, and shrimp basket), they did one or two at a time, over the course of 14 minutes - def not good. At one point the server even told us, there was not enough room on the grill to cook all the orders together, so it was done in 4 shifts. And that was unacceptable and certainly not a good excuse especially since I had made a reservation and they knew there'd be 10 people coming, but ultimately the restaurant holds over 100 people. In spite of the poor service, the food was good and would give them a second try, but this first visit did leave a poor taste in our mouths. Also, the manager did come by to let us know he was excited that he had hired a new chef to be starting soon, but no apologies for the awful service we received. It is definitely worth mentioning that the food pricing was below what I expected and definitely a great value here in the desert. Do better next time please, we are routing for your business to succeed since it is unique here in the area!
