Nobody acknowledged me at all-- I came in, wandered around the women's section for quite a while, didn't find anything (it's a small department) and left, without anybody greeting me. I assume they were occupied, but the store didn't seem busy and there weren't many shoppers in there at all. I was irritated because if I'm going to spend money on clothes for my new job, I want to be treated well. If they can't even say hello to customers, the store needs to staff better.

I called and got someone name Yashi in fragrance and told her I was looking for these shoes that appeared to be in stock there. Yashi literally put me on hold and went downstairs to the shoe department to find these shoes!!!!! She partnered with Desire to find the shoes, call me and confirm that not only did they have the shoes but they would send them to me OVERNIGHT!!!!! This staff was incredible and really went out of the way! No shade to the online team or internet, but some time you have to work with actual PEOPLE who will go out of the way and serve the customer! These ladies did exactly that, and I am so grateful! Thank you Destiny and Yashi, I truly appreciate you!

Looks like they were trying to get rid of their summer clothes which is perfect for me being that when I fly back to Orlando I'll probably be able to wear it immediately. Like I said, this store is normally too rich for my blood, but the sales were great. I could hardly believe it.

This place is clean, not nearly as cluttered, and the service has been great since I've been there at least 5 times in the last few months. I thought I was a Nordstrom Rack girl, but things are changing. I love living close enough to both so that I can shop, or order online, then just head on in to return anything that doesn't work for me once I try it on in the comfort of my own home. It's a piece of cake to return things, I've never had issues and when I found a dress I wanted in another size, the sweet woman at the register pulled out an iPad and found that the size I was looking for was available online. I bought a pair of shoes (plastic flip flop-like summer shoes) this week and was ready to pay my $14.99 and they rang up for just under $5!!! Score! She's like oh yeah we are in the process of marking them down! So glad I grabbed them, with my Calvin Klein dress that day! Like any store, you may have to look through some racks to find some great deals, but they're there! I also found some jeans I love that are consistently about $40 at Nordstrom Rack, and they were $30 here. They didn't have my size, so I went home and ordered them and they should be here any day now. Score!

As well as accessories like jewelry, sunglasses and purses. There's also a small selection of home items in this store. I like to check what's new here occasionally. In the past I've purchased some nice purses, sunglasses and shoes. Occasionally they'll have an additional 20% off of their red tag items, for me that's the best time to get a great deal on something I've been eyeing. Otherwise, I think most items are overpriced here, designer or not. I like going into this store anyway, it has a nice layout, friendly staff, and easy returns if necessary. It's worth going in, you never know what you may find.

Not only was the store clean and organized, but we were able to find so many great items for both my husband and our 3 year old son. I was elated to find several matching shirts for them to wear over the summer, which I look forward to seeing them in together. Prices were great and having the teacher discount on top of it was excellent. When we went up to the register, the young lady behind the counter (Lauren A) was patient as we troubleshooted which email my J.Crew account was linked to. We ended up sharing some small talk about my husband and I being educators and she was very sweet in engaging about our jobs, summer break, and which grade levels we worked with. She was so positive and genuinely happy/helpful. This wasn't exclusive just to us either. We overheard similar interactions with her and other customers in line before we approached. She was just a kind person, who seemed dedicated to her job. We will definitely return!

The items are the same quality as the regular store, but at a much lower cost. A brand new J. Crew Factory store just opened last week in West Hartford's Corbin's Corner. Since this store is brand new, the exterior is still under construction, but It's what's on the inside that matters. The sales associates are friendly and answered all my questions. I've already been here twice since they opened last week. I'm glad to have a factory store nearby now. It's a good idea to come in frequently as new stock comes in often.
