We highly recommend Concrete By Design!…read more I had to write a follow up review to acknowledge a great warrant and amazing service. Last September (2025), Concrete By Design installed the flooring in our courtyard, and we were extremely pleased with the results. Recently, a small portion of the surface separated from the concrete underneath. I reached out to the owner, Joe, and without hesitation he assured me that his team would come out and take care of it. True to his word, a crew arrived promptly and within a few visits the team completed the repair today. The finished result looks just as beautiful as it did the day it was originally installed. In today's world, finding a company that truly stands behind its work can be rare. Concrete By Design exemplifies professionalism, integrity, and outstanding customer service. Their commitment to customer satisfaction long after the job is completed speaks volumes about the quality of their company. If you're looking for a contractor who delivers exceptional workmanship and honors their promises, Concrete By Design is the best. Thank you, Joe and team, for standing behind your product and your work!

We are absolutely thrilled about the outcome of Blue Steam's tile restoration and carpet cleaning!…read moreFrom the beginning working with Judy in the office, to the men who came out for the job, we have only a POSITIVE opinion of Blue Steam and the reasonable pricing. Mario and Shai went beyond the norm in cleaning our textured, dirty tile, light grout (that turned dark brown/almost black) and extra low woven pile carpet that had turned brown instead of being being beige. Mario and Shai went through the entire process with us in a professional and knowledgeable & informative manner. They continued this approach in the whole process. We highly recommend Blue Steam! So, it took 2 hour and 15 minutes at a cost of $2,000. At the end, the employee was using a rag to wipe up the wet spots on the floors, then he used the same rag on the counters! Which I had to go back and clean. We were told they would move our family room rug and furniture and then put it back where it was. They came and got me and said it was back where it was when they moved it, it wasn't. They asked me to direct them on placement. They had to move the rug twice, but only by inches. After the second time, he turned and said that was the last and they would have to charge me for another attempt. This wasn't worth $2,000 it wasn't worth $1,000. It's a real shame because they came recommended by several neighbors. I whole heartedly say, go elsewhere, it's a real rip off.

Response time, scheduling, and customer service were outstanding, specifically calling out Cesar, Delia, and Dart. Only complaint is that there's no way to directly call the Palm Desert office, calls get routed to a central customer service line and it adds an unnecessary layer of complexity to reach the local office. Otherwise it was a flawless experience and I'm so glad Servpro did such a spectacular job!

The technicians were extremely professional - showing up on time, figuring out just what was needed and helping to make sure we were squared away on day one and staying with us for the next 2 days to make sure the issue was completely handled. They made a horrible situation better in everyway and I am eternally thankful.

But every morning I make eggs for my Standard Poodle, and apparently I've been sending the shells down the garbage disposal for years. As it turns out: egg shells + grease + time = a very expensive science experiment. Eric and Luis from USA Drain and Plumbing Works came to the rescue. They explained that our drains needed a full cleaning after years of buildup from oil and my "oops" egg shell habit. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel silly for not knowing that egg shells don't belong in the disposal. What impressed me most was their respect for our home. They wore paper shoe covers while walking on our carpet--a small touch that speaks volumes. Excellent service, great communication, and now both my drains and I are much wiser. The poodle is still getting his eggs, but the egg shells are officially retired from plumbing duty. Highly recommend Eric, Luis, and USA Drain and Plumbing Works!

My experience with Valley Plumbing was shocking--and not in a good way…read more Early Thursday as I was leaving for work, I noticed water pooling around my water meter. It appeared I had an underground leak, so I immediately called Valley Plumbing. I've lived in the valley a long time and have seen their trucks everywhere, so they were my first call. The earliest dispatch they had was for that afternoon. While waiting, I decided to prep the area to speed things up. I shut off the main line, tracked down the leak, and excavated the pipe myself. It turned out to be a simple cracked PVC elbow on the 1 1/4" main line. When the technician arrived around 1:30 PM, I showed him the exposed pipe, and he agreed with my diagnosis. He told me he'd generate a quote. Having done plenty of sprinkler repairs over the years, I knew it was a straightforward fix, though I was hesitant to mess with the main line myself. When he came back with a quote for $1,114.00, I was floored. But with the water turned off all day and the late hour making it impossible to get another plumber out, I felt backed into a corner. I didn't want my family without water overnight, so I told him to go ahead. The actual repair took less than 20 minutes. He used one PVC elbow, one coupler, and about 6 inches of pipe--literally about $20 in parts. The rest of the time was spent sitting around waiting 45 minutes for the cement to set before turning the water back on. He arrived at 1:30 PM and was completely wrapped up, paid, and gone by 3:45 PM. I reached out to Valley Plumbing afterward, assuming there must have been a mistake or misunderstanding. I fully expected to pay a few hundred dollars for an emergency service call, but $1,100+ felt predatory. When a manager called back, he explained that $1,114 is just their standard "book rate" for touching a 1 1/4" line. When I asked how $20 in parts and 20 minutes of basic labor justified that cost, he essentially said that's just what they charge, mentioned their techs are professionally trained, and actually thanked me for digging the hole, noting it would have cost even more if they had to excavate. The repair was completed successfully, but charging over $1,100 for 20 minutes of basic PVC work on a pre-excavated hole is completely unreasonable. I will never use this company again.

I received their quote the next day, last Friday, 06/06/20 by email. After review, it was obvious their representative understood exactly what I wanted to accomplish as everything was included in the quote. I called their office and asked when they could start and how much deposit was needed to schedule the work. They fit me in between jobs, and we're able to start on Tuesday, 06/09/20 and only requested a 30% deposit. Tuesday a very well organized team is bright green shirts showed up and jack hammered everything up and started moving the chunk, in wheelbarrows around the condo out to the street where their trailer was parked. Wednesday they finished removing the concrete then smoothed out the dirt. Thursday the new concrete was poured. Friday, the wrought iron fence was replaced and additional matching fence and gate were installed. Saturday, I was surprised when they showed up and installed the artificial turn where requested. Fantastic job. Courteous, polite workers who all speak English, and good natured, lots of smiles and were very appreciative of the water, coke and gator aid I gave them. Saturday night I sent the balance due on the quote. This morning I called to thank them for doing a wonderful job and asked if there were any additional, add on charges. NO ADD ON CHARGES! Here is the amazing part. They were the lowest bidder of three bids, which had add on charges for the unknown cost of fencing or turf. The other two bids had add on charges and both wanted 50% down to start. The other two bids were 30% and 22% higher without the fencing or turf. For a fast quality job, call these guys.
