The leadership here from the top down sucks. Daniel Dance the owner called me a month after purchasing to discuss my experience and kept cutting me off mid sentence and couldn't care less about customer's experience whatsoever. Same goes for his salesman which below explains that in detail. I went in here and bought a Ferris zero turn mower and drove from Lockhart. The price on it was $13,500 and after talking with the salesman he said he could save me some money if I paid with a check versus a credit card so they didn't have to pay the credit card fees and Ferris also had a promotion going on for a military discount of $500 off at time of purchase and an additional $500 via visa gift card. I agreed to go to the bank and get a cashiers check to save on the credit card fees. Upon returning I was informed that due to receiving the military discount they would not be able to give me the credit card fees as a discount. When I asked why the salesman responded with "WE ARE ALREADY GETTING SCREWED BECAUSE OF THE MILITARY DISCOUNT THAT FERRIS MAKES US DO" Had the shortages of this particular lawnmower not been a problem and Almighty Rentals not have been the only place nearby that had one I would have walked away from the deal. Unfortunately I needed a lawnmower more than I needed to prove a point. So remember that when you are considering doing business with these guys they believe giving a military discount is getting screwed. read more

I went today to get transmission filters for my Ferris mower which i purchased there last year. The three guys at the counter were clueless. After 20 minutes of them trying to find it on the computer I was told they didn't have any in stock. The manager last year was very knowledgeable, I was told he had moved on. What a shame. read more

I needed to grind down a thin layer of my foundation I went to Almighty rentals and rented a buffer with a diamond wheel. First of all Dan, was a great help and gave insightful knowledge and asked questions to be sure it was the right tool for the job. They loaded it up and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. After 6 weeks of waiting for a repair on a Hustler mower do to circumstances beyond their control, the parts needed were to be delivered today. I called to check if they were in. The guy on the phone was rude, sarcastic and basically told me to come pick the machine up right away and find someone else to work on it. Horribly disappointed with the service here. Horrible at communicating times for pickup and delivery back and what was expected of the customer such as complete knowledge of rental agreement with zero suggestion that you should check all linens to make sure Almighty had not given you linens with stains on them. I thought that would be the responsibility of the company especially since the date of my event was on a Sunday when they are closed! Linens had stains and them and I had to pay for them. We did get a burn mark from a candle when the wind blew the linen over it. Although the burn mark happened on a stained linen that I received but had to use any way because they were closed. Then an employee accused me of burning it with a cigarette. The owner is rude to his employees and rude to customers. Wanted to have a conversation but would not listen to what I had to say. Luckily my event was very small and I would never trust them for any big events we have coming up. I will take my business elsewhere, which is sad because I like to support local businesses. read more

My husband and I were initially interested in renting linens from Almighty Rentals for our wedding because they offer reasonable prices and their warehouse was conveniently close to our wedding venue. I scheduled an appointment on the Friday before Memorial Day to go look at the linens and to talk to a representative about all of the details. Their warehouse is not open for tours on the weekend and maybe I should have double-checked with Celena that someone would in fact be there, since it was a long military holiday weekend. But when we arrived for our appointment, the place was deserted and there was a sign on the door saying that they had closed at 1 pm to give employees a longer weekend. As much as I understand that, it really irritated me because my husband does not get week days off, except for long weekends such as that one. So including him in wedding planning as much as I possibly could was my goal from the beginning. The fact that they were open earlier in the day made it worse because we could have been there any time before our scheduled appointment if there was more communication on the business' end. I emailed Celena, the sales rep that I had coordinated the appointment with, and she apologized for the mix up and told me that she would accommodate any other time we wanted to come and look at the linens, even after hours, etc. That was nice, but realistically, my husband's job doesn't allow any extra time during the week to do that and Georgetown is out of our way, so we never ended up going back to look. Celena asked if she could text me pictures of the linens and I said of course, but even then she waited a few days to do it, so by then I had already settled for a different company. Which also didn't perform well and lacked the most basic professionalism, so maybe it's just this area of Texas?? Thank goodness we don't need to deal with wedding vendors anymore, but I'm sure this business has and will keep better track of appointments with customers. When in doubt, just double check, which I should have done in the first place. read more

First time renting in this area . Called and left message a couple times. Call never returned. Drove to location to place order. Fundraiser event numbers came in 48 hours before pickup . Asked to delete one table. Was told the charge remained the same. The men at receiving were very helpful & quick to load. Sales person was a seat warmer. Taking a basic order was a long process. She kept saying she was hard of hearing. Will purchase our own tables rather than repeat that process again.... first review I have ever written. Owner should up his customer service. The first time I spoke with Dan (the owner) on the phone, he wasn't rude necessarily, but most definitely was not nice. He obviously wanted to get off of the phone and was not too interested in my business. I could sense his eagerness to get off the phone so I tried to wrap up the call as soon as I could. When I hung up, I realized I forgot a very important question. I called back not even 30 seconds later, asked for Dan (who it obviously was as I had just spoke with him and knew his voice) and he said "there is no Dan) and hung up immediately without me being able to say another word.
