After explaining it to Mike he went and grabbed a testing device. He checked both the battery and the alternator. Now , of course the battery would be the culprit and although Mike could have been more concerned about a sale instead he provided excellent, even outstanding customer service noting the year and battery purchase location. In short it was still under warranty. Thank you as it turned out it was still under warranty and within 15mins, I was able to get a new battery, no charge and enjoy my 98° weather in Houston, TX for the day. He didn't call me until 5 (after they closed), but the quote was reasonable. It did take some follow up on Monday to figure out when it would be done, but eventually got the car back and all the warning lights were off and it's been working well for a few months now. Overall I'm happy. Communication could be better, but glad we found a mechanic who could fix the issue with reasonable cost.

I was told by another shop that I needed to replace the entire oil pan because the threads were gone. They were charging me $1100 for that service and didn't offer any other option. I took it to Missouri Car Care and told them hey I need my pan rethreaded and of course it's a little harder to do that on an Aluminum pan but they said they will try. And they did it! They also saved my oil so I wouldn't get charged more. $95 for that service. Great place and I most certainly recommend over any other shops in town.
