He came out to the house, i had to provide him tools ( should have ran at this point ) so he can measure. I gave him the benefit of the doubt asked for a quote , he gave me a quote, we agreed and gave him the deposit (50%). This company didnt call all week, we had to constantly reach out, finally we spoke and he said the trailer is down and that he cant find a dumpster. he can't get the rocks as he had no dump that he can't get for the amount he quoted so I offer to get him a dump unfortunately that fell through and at this point I should not be having to help him get the job done so I cancelled the job, as soon as I send him that message he magically has all the stuff now and won't refund my money it seam that this is a common with this guy lack of communication he's keeping all the deposit just to come out and measure things will be reaching the bbb and the police for theft and unfortunately take him to court hope this helps to keep you far away from this company they seem to have con artist like practice

Then I hired a company to build a screened porch on the slab. Now they found out there is no permit for that, the thickness of the slab is not 4" so the slab does not meet the criteria to handle the structure. The description on the invoice does not fit the actual construction of the slab. I was told that I have to dismantle the slab and has to get whole new slab. I paid $1900 for the slab.

Unfortunately, our experience with Florida State Paving has been extremely disappointing and…read morefrustrating. We hired the company to complete a parking lot project for small community church. What should have been a straightforward project has required us to address essentially the SAME concerns on FOUR separate occasions. Most recently, I drove approximately 1 1/2 hours to the church specifically to meet with their team and resolve issues concerning the parking lot layout. I spent approximately 40 minutes walking the property with them, discussing the layout in detail and making sure everyone understood what had been agreed upon. Despite that effort, the work that followed did not reflect what we had just discussed and, in our view, resulted in a layout that was nonfunctional for the church and its members. That single incident resulted in approximately 4 1/2 hours of my time being spent traveling, meeting, and attempting to resolve an issue that should have already been addressed. Mistakes can happen on any project. My concern is not one mistake--it is the PATTERN: discuss the problem, agree upon a solution, and then receive something different from what was discussed. We have made multiple good-faith attempts to work directly with Florida State Paving to resolve these concerns. Unfortunately, after four separate attempts involving substantially the same issues, we have reached the point where we are seeking outside assistance. Based solely on our experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Clearly document the scope of work, specifications, layout, agreed-upon changes, and completion expectations. I would also recommend closely monitoring the work throughout the project rather than assuming that verbal discussions or agreements will be followed. We expected a professional experience and a finished product consistent with what was agreed upon. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience.
