I was going to physical therapy, but eventually they told me there wasn't much more they could do for me unless I lost about 65 pounds. That was a tough thing to hear, but it pushed me to take my health seriously. That's when I started working with Coley, and honestly it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. He didn't just throw workouts at me and hope for the best he really listened to what my body was going through and built workouts that helped me get stronger without making my injuries worse. Over time, I hit my goal and lost the 65 pounds I needed to lose. Even more important, my back pain is gone and my quality of life is so much better. I move differently, I feel stronger, and I have so much more confidence in my body again. Coley is the real deal. If you're looking for someone who actually cares about his clients and will hold you accountable, he's your guy. I don't play around with my money, and there were times I had to work an extra day just to make sure I could keep training with him. That's how much I believed in the results and he absolutely delivered. If you want someone real, supportive, and knowledgeable who can truly help change your life, I highly recommend Coley. Here is my before and after exactly one year apart.

Since Kelly returned, rebranded the gym, and put her own vision into the space, the difference has been huge. She truly brought this place back to life and created the kind of private gym atmosphere people are looking for, clean, organized, welcoming, and focused. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this gym, and I feel that the way I have been…read moretreated has been disrespectful, intimidating, and racially insensitive. On a previous visit, I was specifically asked to scan my membership even though I had never seen other members being asked to do so. When I respectfully questioned why I was being singled out, the trainer responded aggressively and cursed at me, saying, "because that's the fucking rules." The situation escalated when other trainers became involved and started yelling at me as well. This happened in the middle of the gym in front of other members, and the police ultimately became involved. I reported the incident to management because I felt the behavior was completely unprofessional. I was told that something like this would not happen again. Unfortunately, I returned yesterday and experienced another situation involving the same trainer. I was simply trying to work out and deliberately chose not to engage with her because I did not want another confrontation. Despite that, she continued interacting with me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and as though another confrontation was being initiated. Then, people she was training began yelling at me from across the gym and calling me a "pussy." I also want to be clear that I am a Black member, and based on the repeated way I have been singled out, confronted, and treated compared with other members, I feel that there is a racial component to how I have been treated. I cannot speak to anyone else's intentions, but the pattern has made me feel targeted and discriminated against because of my race. That is extremely concerning to me. I should be able to enter a gym, work out, and leave without feeling targeted, intimidated, or unsafe. Trainers and staff should be creating a welcoming and professional environment for all members, regardless of race. I already brought my concerns to management once, and unfortunately, the same situation has continued. I hope management takes this seriously and investigates what happened rather than allowing members to feel targeted or uncomfortable in a facility where they are paying to work out.
