The nail tech was nice but he did not know what he was doing. He cut most of my fingers with a nail file and then would dip my bloody fingers into the nail dip powder. I've had the nails for about a week and I have two infected fingers that are red, swollen, and painful. read more

I will never go back to this place. I asked for a French fade dip powder. The guy who did it did an awful job and added glitter when I didn't ask for it. He then told me it was $50 which is $15 more than their advertised price and when I said I didn't want to pay extra money he told me I should've asked for the price beforehand. This place is garbage. read more

Awful! They don't put the base coat for dip powder nails. I had to beg them to because it's worse for your nails if you don't put the base coat. And finally they were like ok fine but then we will only do 2 coats of color.... no other place does this, you're SUPPOSED to put the base powder. Ugh hate them. They're so rude. read more

There has been very few times in life that I have been this dissatisfied with a salon as I was today. I sit down to have my full set done, that's fine. Everything is fine until the person doing my full set decides to tell me-while they're putting the last coat of paint on my nails- that their card reader is down and to pay them I have to go to the ATM down the strip by the publix and get cash. Excuse me?! You waited until now to tell me this?!?! I pay my debts so I go get the cash extremely aggravated. Not to mention that several of my nails are filed crooked. Then when I come back and pay the $40 he says I owe he looks at me like I owe him more when I don't tip him. I'm sorry but your tip got paid to the ATM when I was forced to drive down there to get you cash because you neglected to tell me you couldn't take my debit card BEFORE doing my nails. WILL NOT EVER COME BACK HERE. EVER. read more

I would give 1/2 a star if I could. And only giving that because they applied cream to the top of my hands. Worst manicure I've ever had. Needed to go some where else on the same day to get re filed to fix uneven edges. Certainly not worth $15 and my waste of 15 minutes. read more

My friend and I walked in at 4:30 on a Wednesday. They took us right away. The entire visit was very pleasant. I am new to the area and am grateful to find a great place to get my pedicures. read more

This is the worst nail place I have ever been to in my entire life. I've went about 5 or 6 times because there aren't any good places in Clemson, and each time was worse than the last. I'd rather drive all the way to Greenville or Anderson. DO NOT COME if you want dip, tips, gel, acrylics. Horrible service, rude staff, and bad quality. read more

Favorite nail salon in the area although I can only speak to the pedicure services, I have had 10 or so here. I recommend the NuSkin Organic pedicure. Smells incredible. Salon has always been clean and service fast outside of peak traffic hours (I won't go to a nail salon when it could possibly be crowed). The salon itself has an updated aesthetic, relaxing environment. NuSkin Organic is not on the menu so you have to ask for it. read more

Been going here for a very long time. Usually was fairly happy with their services (have acrylic fingernails and they kept them up) last week I got them filled before Christmas and the same day one just popped off. The guy that did them that day was rushed and very sloppy in his work. I came back as soon as I got a chance (a couple days later because they were closed for the holidays and what not) to get that nail fixed and they were incredibly rude to me the entire time. Getting my nails done used to be an enjoyable experience and they ruined that for me. I will never go back read more

I just left an appointment at Allure nails and had the worst experience I've had with a nail salon. The nail technician was very rough. He made my cuticle bleed and then continued to be rough and kept scratching the tops of my hands with the nail file. I chose to get gel nail polish with an accent ring finger glitter nail. While he was painting my nails he kept running his hand over my fingernails, accidentally scraping the polish off. By the end, there were spots on my nails that were missing the polish. The two nails with the glitter polish have burgundy polish visible under them and do not look good. The man that did my nails had already left before I noticed the missing polish on my nails. I told the cashier and she called someone and made me speak with them on her cellphone. I work a full time job and have two young children, I do not have time to come get them fixed, nor would I want to after having them messed up and having had such a bad experience. I told her that I did not understand why I was having to pay for them since I was unhappy and she kept saying that she was sorry. I paid $37 and did not tip. Do not go here. Their customer service is horrible!! read more

I wish there was a zero star option. Do not go here!! I had an acrylic/gel polish manicure this morning. The nail tech was 25 minutes late, likely hungover(as was the guy next to him) and terrible! None of my nails were shaped the same, nor the same length. He slopped on the polish, way too thick (or old). Not even 12 hours later, I have three large areas of polish that have peeled off. I went here because I needed fresh nails for tomorrow night and I'm very, very sorry! Should have just lived with my one chipped nail! Terrible place!! read more

Poor customer service. Did not stand by their gel manicure. I paid for a Gel French Manicure, 7 fingers were chipping after 2 days. They did not redo them for free. read more

horrible experience. this place is completely lazy and unprofessional. asked for a new full gel set. came out looking like I needed a refill and hands that aged 20 years. the man that did my nails was definitely under the influence of something. do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. they don't give massages, lotion, or do your cuticles. Worst place for waxing. No initial cleaning, no cleaning after, no astringent. I had to come back and shave many places. Waste of money and it is pricey too. Not the place for a good experience. read more

I am very upset with the service I got this last visit. They scrubbed my legs with an exfoliating scrub and rubbed my legs to the bone. I also have a giant bruise on my foot from them being so rough. I don't recommend read more

I had a great time at this salon. My nails looked awesome and the employee were very nice and caring. Would definitely recommend to anybody who's looking for a new salon! read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. I had an appointment for 4:00pm and did not get out of there until 7:00pm. Not only did they charge me $50 for a basic pedicure (basic polish, no massage), it was the worst pedicure I have ever received. They charged me and extra $15 for a gel polish removal on my toenails.... the nail polish on my toes was a $5 top coat from walmart... they could have easily taken it off with acetone and I even told them that. After the terrible pedicure I was waiting an hour to get my nails done even though I had an appointment. My nails were done terribly with acrylic left on my skin and the nails not an even length. After I had finally gotten my nails complete, they proceeded to charge me the $65 for my toes (basic polish) and $75 for my nails (acrylic). After explaining to them why I thought I should not be paying that much, they refused any type of discount. Absolutely terrible and will NEVER go back. I hope every one else doesn't make the same mistake I did. Worst nail experience of my entire life. read more

I don't recommend this place. Me and my roomate went and it was a terrible experience. They peeled off my gel nails with a file which was very painful and ended up ripping off most of my real nails. My nails are now very thin and are ripping off not even two days later. My roommates nail polish was purple but over the two days randomly started having green circles on it. We went back and they said it was because it was a mood nail polish even though they didn't tell her it was a mood nail polish before hand. I've had mood nail polish before and it changes colors only when it's put in water or has cold air blown on it. Hers was just turning green and then kept the green spots the whole time. Definitely not going back! read more

The place looks much better than the service is. I was not very pleased with the quality at my last visit, but decided to give it another shot. This time it was much worse. The technician POPPED my existing powder dipped nails off rather than dissolving them, which took layers of my real nail with it.. I have a high pain tolerance and I was at a tipping point by the 4th nail. This was to "save time". If that wasn't ridiculous enough she proceeded to take two phone calls and then FaceTime with her daughter while rushing through my nails. Their lack of customer service is astonishing. read more

By far the best nail place in Clemson! Awesome atmosphere and they give you free beverages (even wine )! Every time I have been they always have the best service and a great selection of nail polish colors. I wouldn't go back to any other nail salons in Clemson after going here. read more

The guys doing our pedicures seemed rushed to finished. Didn't introduce themselves and didn't ask what kind of pedicure we wanted Toe nails edges were rough and uneven. When I asked to correct it they switched to a woman who put my sandals on before painting my nails and got polish on my $100 shoes. SMH. Not very professional. Won't be going back. read more

If I had a choice I would not even give this Nail Salon 1 star, but I could not post this without at least giving 1. I sent my daughter to have her nails done for Prom this afternoon. She ended up going to Allure Nails in the Publix Shopping Center in Clemson. I had already read bad reviews about this salon, and did not realize this is where she was going. She was going to have her nails squared and tipped. Well as you can tell from the last two pictures they are definitely not square and the tips are all kinds of messed up as far as size and width. My daughter is 17 and not very out spoken. So when she got done with this rush job because she is young. She called me very upset that this was not what she was expecting and was not done right along with the girl that did her nails was extremely rude. Unfortunately I was at work and did not have time to help her resolve this issue. When she showed me her nails I really thought that they had just painted her real nails because they were rounded and about the same length. She explained what had happened and then I called my oldest daughter to take care of this issue. She called and spoke with someone there about giving her a refund or something, and how bad these nails looked. So I sent my 17 year old daughter back up there to this shop. When she arrived she noted that the girl was nicer and took her back to take off the messed up nails and then gave her a refund of her money. When she got home tonight I asked her why she had a band aide on her finger. She took it off and that is where the first picture come in at if you look you can see what a disaster her real nails are and how jagged they were cut not even filed. So you know that they are going to grow out the side of the nail. Then if you look one several of her original nails were cut to short almost to the quick and the one with the band aide is bleeding. So it was completely cut to short and into the quick. Her cuticles were not cared for and the one on that finger is also bleeding. She took the time out of her crazy busy schedule in the attempt to get Prom ready and now her time was Wasted and trying to find time to go somewhere else is going to be difficult. I say all this to tell you that I would not recommend this Nail Salon to anyone. This is the worst job I have ever seen done. And I feel that since she was young and not nail experienced she was taken advantage of. Very disappointed unsatisfied and irritated read more

If I could give this place -7 stars I would. I am doing my duty as a decent human being by not only warning you, but begging you to never set foot anywhere near this nail dump. This is hands down with out a doubt the MOST vile, uncleanly, unprofessional, disgusting excuse for a nail salon. To start off, just know if you go here you will leave sick. The amount of bacteria that manifests in this place is repulsive, nothing is clean, there is nail clippings and dust everywhere, dirty towels and nail tools are used, and nothing is sanitized. I'm willing to bet there is a 99% chance of getting sick just by walking through the door and breathing in the filthy, dusty, dirty air. Their services match the level of cleanliness. My cuticles were bleeding by the end of the gel manicure I had done and within 24 hours chips of the GEL polish were peeling off. A bottle of acrylic glue spilled on my hand while I was there. Why? Because the entire place is an un-organized disaster. Even if Allure is your last possible resort on earth and every other solution or option is not accessible, still, do not go. Don't do it to your self and waste your time, money, and health. A 911 for health services needs to be called and shut this wreck down. read more

Besides being over priced for the service provided...I was disappointed when I took my gift certificate in to redeem ( Christmas gift from grandkids) and they would not honor it since it was just beyond 6 months since purchase. THIS IS NOT A LARGE CORPORATE organization...but a small independent nail salon that is not interested in positive PR for their salon. I will not go back and warm at there are other salons who are open and concerned about their local community reputation. read more

Decided while I was out why not stop and get my nails done before going into publix. I should have walked out the door, as the spa and nail salon was filthy dirty in my opinion. I sat there wondering when the last time the equipment had been cleaned... as for my nails I probably could have done better myself . They're uneven, lumpy and not the same length.. can't wait to get them done over elsewhere.. my nails underneath do kinda hurt as well. The atmosphere wasn't as welcoming as one would expect, and the majority of the staff looked miserable. a little pricey for what it is.. I should have just gone to a actual salon for a few $ more that would have been clean and my nails would have actually come out nice .. read more

They accepted an appointment for 40 people when the salon only fits 20 max. We had a 4pm appointment and did not get seated until 5, while girls that were walk ins were welcomed before us. They rushed the appointment, made me bleed, and did not do an adequate job. They only kept my nails under the UV lights for 10 seconds at a time. The filing was bad. They missed parts on my nails and left nail polish on my skin around my fingers. Will not be going back. read more

When Allure first opened, I was pleased with the manicure quality and the relaxing environment in the store. I guess as business picked up, they became less concerned with the way customers were treated and the last couple experiences I have had there were disappointing. My manicures chipped a couple days after they were done, and the nail techs seemed to rush people out. I wouldn't write a negative review based on just that, however. I am writing this because my mom was looking forward to using a gift certificate she received for this place. First, the gift certificates are valid for six months (much less than any other salon). Hers was about a week expired with all of the winter weather when she finally made it in to redeem it. Not only did they make her wait for 15-20 minutes in between steps of the manicures because they were busy with other clients, they did a terrible job with her nails and rushed through the process (not relaxing at all. No lotion, massage, etc). She was rudely told she couldn't use the gift certificate because it had been A WEEK since it expired, and they threw it in the trash in front of her. If that is the strict policy for gift cards, fine. But the manager was very rude to her about it and didn't even offer an apology, a discount, anything. That is a TERRIBLE way to keep good business. You would think they would want their customers to leave happy- or at least not upset. Needless to say, we won't be back and we will be spreading the word about how they treat their good clients. read more

I popped in today for a quick fill. My usual salon in Anderson wasn't open when I went in and I needed my nails done TODAY because I'm going out of town. I got there around 940am. They had JUST opened at 930. The place was filthy. Every work station was crusted with acrylic gobs or dribbled polish... dust on every stations light fixture. I sat, got a young man who was clearly in a rush to get me out so he could get back on his cell phone. He didn't speak to me but to tell me the color I picked was not what I thought it was, he was nice enough to go get what I wanted. I didn't get wax, but I would seriously advise against it. The "bed" that they have you lay on for legs or whatever had a disgusting stained sheet on it, yesterdays wax still attached to it in spots. When I washed my hands in the main sink, they had nice hand towels to dry your hands, but when I looked through the hole in the counter to discard my towel in, the bin was FULL. It has not been emptied from yesterday maybe even the day before. I don't care if you have enough towels to last you a month, this is basic shop cleaning we are talking about. In the end, my nails look alright... the polish is not as neat as I am used to and while he got me done and out in 45 min I won't be back. Cost me more than I usually pay and I didn't get the quality I am used to. I will plan better next time I need to go out of town. read more
