Went here for the first time today! Really beautiful and clean interior. Loved how much space there was and how calm the atmosphere was. Staff was clearly close with each other and in good moods, which I always appreciate. My nails, however, are very okay. I got an acrylic gel set. The polish is really even and he did like 3 coats, which I love. The shaping, however, isn't great, but my biggest issue is that he didn't hold up my fingers on each hand side-to-side to make sure each nail size was similar, so my thumb nails are two completely different sizes :( So I was a little upset to pay the $47. The older man started cutting the sides of my fingers with the nail file and I mean literally cutting me and had to use the liquid septic to stop the bleeding. You can see where he cut me with the thing they use to file out the nail that is the super speedy thing. He only took $5 off my nails and told me next time to not come in with a stank face. I'm a man that was told I'd have a 25 min wait for a manicure. 4 men working and 2 women. I signed in and was placed in queue. 15 minutes later 4 other female customers walk in (no appointment) and place their name in cue and after 10 mins they were seated and worked on. I said to the man that told me 25 mins that I was here before the 4 women that he just seated (he knew this.) He then says I have to wait for the female attendants to be done. They will give you your manicure. WHAT?!? WHY? I have to wait longer?? 3 of the male attendants are free including himself. He said "you don't want the man to hold your hand." I don't care. I just want a manicure and get out of here. You're wasting my time and you shouldn't have told me it was 25 mins if you were unwilling to attend and male patron. I've already been sitting here now for 50 mins and you want me to wait longer? He says no no no you have to wait. And walks away. I would've walked out immediately, but my female friend who I came with was already being taken care within our 25 min window before the 4 women that came after us. This is absolutely unacceptable. Stop the nonsense ALLURE NAILS and SPA in CLEMSON. I was approach well over an hour of wait and I refuse the service. I'm not interested in give the place my money. Like most places in Clemson they don't honor appointment times and they tell you one thing on the phone and you'll be sitting there waiting when you get there. Not a completely horrible places but I wouldn't go if you were in a rush or had somewhere to be. read more

I was so excited to go get a dip manicure with tips and was sorely disappointed. Midway through my manicure, the technician started filing down the dip on my nail and left large patches across my nails darker than the rest. I brought this up and she told me that my nails were just wet and it would dry. After holding them in the fan for a while, she told me that it would go away after the top coat. I was then told that before the rest of the top coats were put on I would need to pay, to which I told the technician no that my nails didn't look right. She kept telling me no they would dry, and even after I had her try to file them down to all be the same color she said "it looks ombré" in a joking way but was still telling me that's just how the color looked. The picture I attached is after I asked her to file them down and therefore the stripes across were worse before. She also stood over me with her manager while I filled out my receipt and therefore I felt uncomfortable when I was trying to determine the tip. Literally I am barely giving this place a 2. If you are getting gel then go somewhere else seriously it's a waste of your money and it'll be sloppy. If you are getting dip it'll be average. My nails are messy after but it's manageable. They also are NEVER consistent with prices and will constantly over change and change prices (will include tip in overall price) also the guy worker is constantly on coc and goes to the bathroom every 10 minutes for more bumps. Worst nail place but Clemson sucks and has not many other good options. After this rant I wanna change the rate to 1 star. This place sucks read more

I went in to get gel and already had SNS powder on my nails and the way the nail tech took my SNS powder off broke most of my nails. She wedged a metal tool between my real nail and the SNS and pried then off taking layers of my real nail with them. She didn't ask how long I wanted them and since most were already broken she just cut them as low as she could and kept filing even after I told her it hurt. I texted my boyfriend to come pick me up and her and the two other workers there all were looking at what was on my phone when I opened it (the only time I used my phone the entire time). I paid $25 for a painful, rushed, 15-minute appointment. My nails had become so thick and strong from getting SNS(elsewhere) and now I am back to square one with thin, short nails. I have opted to come here several times, since my usual salon is a lot further. Each time, I regret that decision, as I see that they charge the same prices, but don't do half the job. Gel toenail polish chips after a few days, dip starts cracking after a week, and they charge $30 to remove polish from hands and feet, ($10 service elsewhere.) I would not recommend, it's worth it to drive a little further for a much better job! The only positive is, there are some nice people working here. read more

I usually am pleased with the service I receive at Allure, but today I can't say the same. My nail technician was staring at her phone for my entire appointment. She would stop painting my nails mid-stroke when she would get a text, without an apology or other acknowledgment, and I'd be left for 5 minutes at a time. Then once she replied, she would rush through the painting, leaving gel polish on about several of my fingers. Overall, I was very disappointed because this is not typically the kind of service you receive. read more

They were all really friendly and the person taking care of my nails made sure to take good care of my nails. Very clean updated facility. It is very roomy and set up with lots of massage chairs and the like. The girl who did my nails was thoughtful and did a nice job.
