Here's what I've experienced: Terrible Maintenance: Requests take weeks (or longer) to get addressed, and when they do, it's a quick patch job that falls apart again. Pests Everywhere: Roaches, mice, you name it--management does nothing about it. Awful Management: They're rude, unresponsive, and only care about collecting your rent, not fixing issues. All common areas are filthy Noisy and Unsafe: Paper-thin walls, constant loud music, and zero security. I've seen stray cats wandering the halls Living here has been a complete nightmare. The move-out process was especially unpleasant and really showed how little they care about the people living there. Overall, extremely disappointing experience and not a place I would recommend to anyone.

The kitchens are especially large with lots of counter space and high end appliances. Every apartment has a front load washer and dryer. The building is well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. There is a great Fitness Center and a every unit comes with a storage unit. The Building Management and Maintenance staff are friendly, responsive and easy to get along with. There is a grocery store (Ashley's) just up the block, and just past that, a great Brew Pub (Gaslight Brewery). Starbucks is just across the street. The train station very close by and the express train to NYC Penn Station only takes 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

The walls are adorned with photos of interesting and influential people that have made Newark great. A Whole Foods and some cool and colorful art cutout life size sculptures are located on the main level. It appears retail shops can be set up here. The original 6th floor building has high ceiling, duplex apartments (at least the ones on the 6th floor) and one bedrooms. The addition building and 9 stories. The ceilings are lower but has great views of Rutgers.
