My rates went up from $245 a month for 2 vehicles to $360+ in a year. I did have trouble with my…read moredriving record so i just accepted my bad luck and kept paying this amount. One day I decided to give non known names a try to get a cheaper rate, I had a baby and cost of living just went up all of a sudden! Nothing came out from that, but i received a call from an Allstate guy and i dismissed him almost immediately. He persisted and i agreed to get a quote from them.... To my surprise.... $100 cheaper a month for better coverage knowing my full driving record!!! $100!!!!! cheaper a month!! I couldn't believe it! So I call this DP Insurance agency to cancel and after 2 days of talking to about 3 representatives, ALL giving me this "whatever" attitude and telling me person is not in, we'll call you back, we'll send you the form to cancel, sending me a pitiful .dat file!! what the hell is a form on a .dat format!?!??! Have you ever heard of the UNIVERSAL pdf format?!?!?! anyways.... im still waiting for the cancellation form as i type this.

Michelle at Farmers is the BEST insurance agent!!! Highly recommended!!…read more Michelle at Farmers had the best customer service; fast, immensely efficient, extremely knowledgeable and very personable. I have to admit, I thought the new Farmers commercials about their agents being knowledgeable was just an advertising gimmick along with their new jingle. But then I needed homeowners (condo) insurance and a few of my coworkers recommended Michelle Lim at Farmers Insurance. I made calls to various other insurance companies including Wawanesa, State Farm, and Allstate and ended up with Michelle because she extremely impressed me with her service. I told her my situation and she assessed it and went far and beyond her duty for service by contacting the master insurance policy which was under my condo HOA to find out what was already covered so that she could provide me with a policy that fit my needs. Needless to say, I truly felt that Michelle had my best interest in mind and she had all the knowledge and willingness to do the best for me. With the agents from the other insurance companies I got varying results; some were rude, some didn't speak English, but all of them lacked the efficiency and knowledge that Michelle had. Michelle is an amazing insurance agent and she's made me strongly believe in the Farmers Insurance brand - their agents really are quite wonderful. Let her help you, you'll be thanking me later!
