It has been amazing, but about 8 years ago, my agent retired, and the person who took over has not provided the services I was accustomed to. I was actively shopping for a new company to take over all our coverage, house, and cars. A friend recommended Brandon Baxter. Of course I was dragging my feet. My husband got a different insurance for our car thinking it was a better deal and it was ridiculously expensive. 3 weeks ago, my husband passed away unexpectedly. I knew I needed help in making decisions about coverage. In one phone call, they had both automobiles covered for significantly cheaper. I made them aware that I would likely sell my husband's beloved truck. I reached out today to ask what I needed to do, and the reply was, "just give us a call when the sale is done, and we'll take care of the rest". While we were discussing this there was a gentle question posed about if I had life insurance. Long story on that, but what I have is minimal at best. Asking me a few questions, they asked if they could look into some options and gather some quotes for me. Later they shared the various options said there was no pressure but wanted to make sure I knew how they could support me in that realm. With the unexpected death of my husband, making sure things are in place should I pass unexpectedly has become important, but honestly, the thought of researching that is very overwhelming. I appreciate the information shared and the discussion of things to consider. Having a proactive and attentive agent is critical. I am glad I transferred to a new agent who can help make sure I am taken care of. I'll say working with him is "like a good neighbor" and they have been there.
