James is very knowledgeable. When my son's former insurance company informed us that they were no longer able to provide insurance and was going out of business. My boyfriend recommended James since he has insurance here too and has recommended him to several people. Besides, I believe by the word of mouth theory. So once my son purchased his insurance here. Owning an older property in San Francisco has made finding and keeping insurance increasingly difficult. Over the years, several insurance companies have decided not to renew our policy, and each time Phil and his team have been there to help us navigate the process. They have consistently found new coverage options for us when we weren't sure where to turn. They've also been incredibly helpful in guiding us through the various property upgrades and requirements that insurance companies have requested before renewing coverage. Instead of just selling us a policy, they've taken the time to explain what was needed, answer our questions, and help us through every step. What I appreciate most is their responsiveness, knowledge, and genuine willingness to help. It's reassuring to know we have a team we can trust, especially with something as important and increasingly complicated as property insurance. If you're looking for an insurance agency that is experienced, dependable, and truly advocates for its clients, I highly recommend Phil Dong Insurance Agency. Taking advantage of the elderly? Really? Shame on you and I hope it goes down with you to the grave. I have very low tolerance for sh*t like this. One bit of advise, learn to speak English properly then open up your mouth to explain insurance policies to your customers. Don't waste your time, she'll put you on hold for 11mins. She'll talk to you like you're an idiot and with a major attitude. Learn customer service 101. This will not be the last she'll hear from me, I'm reporting her to the Department Of insurance. It's not even the customer service and Attitude issues, she's definitely a con artist of an insurance agent. Consumers beware!
