My experience with Sky View Taxi was excellent. Going to the airport and on my return pick up the service was very professional. The driver was on time very courteous and asked if I was comfortable. He drove excellent and when we arrived at Newark Airport, he was extremally helpful with my luggage. The return pickup was excellent as well, he asked if I need to stop anywhere or pick up milk & bread. That was very kind and considerate of them. I got a recommendation from a friend who heard they were reliable. I called from Miami airport to arrange a ride home from Newark airport. The office gave me the drivers phone number and I called right before we took off for timing purposes. We landed, I got my luggage and waited about 4 minutes for Joe the driver. He told me what type of car it was and he confirmed with me who he was. His car was immaculate and roomy with a large trunk. Joe the driver was friendly, professional and made easy small talk with me. Joe was an excellent driver and I was extremely pleased with my service. I will be using them again in the near future! I called for a ride to the airport. The man who answered sounded annoyed and asked when I needed it. I said now. He then informed me that the ride would be $105. Potential customers should be aware that this company hires racist drivers. I was walking my infant son in his stroller this afternoon and a driver in a light blue minivan with the Sky View logo and number on the side, screamed "F*cking Arab" out his window at another passing car. The other driver had done nothing to provoke this. This was at the corner of High St. and Culver St. in Somerville, 4/19/19, 12pm. The driver then apologized to me, as if I was the one who he had just offended, to which I replied, "that was pretty racist." He then shrugged and said "yeah" like of course it was and drove off. Do not use this company. I wouldn't ever trust or want to be alone with any of their drivers. I would give a zero star rating if I could. read more

WAY WAY above and beyond service! At the last minute my brother and I decided to send an ice-cream cake to my sister for her birthday - to be delivered to the rehab center where she would be visiting her spouse. The catch - they are in New Jersey and we are in New Mexico. We couldn't find a food delivery service that would help us and almost gave up. Until I googled "delivery service" and hit on Sky View Taxi. I called and when an employee answered, I asked with some trepidation, "Um, I have a bit of a strange request. I want to order an ice-cream cake and have you pick it up and deliver it. Is that possible?" And the guy says right away, Sure, just give me the addresses! I told him which Baskin-Robbins to pick up and the location of the rehab center, and to please deliver at 7 PM during visiting hours. He said they'd pick up at 6:45 PM and would call when the driver got to the rehab place. He then quoted me a price, with tip, that was very reasonable so I told him to add another $10. Then I called Baskin-Robbins and was told they had no cake ready to go that day. I found another BR fairly close by who did have a cake so I ordered it and paid by credit card over the phone. But they close at 5 PM, so the time and the address for the pick-up had to be changed. I called Sky View back with the change of plans and they said no problem, we'll adjust. Fast forward to 4:30 PM. The driver called from Baskin Robbins and said they wouldn't release the cake to her without a receipt. She also mentions that they haven't written the "Happy Birthday" message with my sister's name on the cake. So she gives the phone to the manager there who fixes up the cake and gives it to her after speaking with me. About 10 minutes later I got another call from the driver who tells me she dropped off the cake at the rehab center, they're putting it in the freezer till my sister gets there, and all is well. As it turned out, my sister was having a really crummy day so the cake was a very big and very very welcome surprise. None of this would have been possible without Sky View Taxi. They did an exceptional job, going way above and beyond with their service and were super-accommodating and friendly the whole time with a real can-do attitude. Our family will be using their services whenever we can. Just a great company! read more

Skyview in my opinion is very rude and unprofessional.The drivers are nice and all. But I dont like the idea that they would refuse service if you rode with the other taxi service thats also in town. Happened multiple times when service is really needed from my mother. read more

Dispatcher is extremely rude. I called them for picking me up at 5am in the morning to go to airport and he tried to charge me $120 for 30 miles that is because it is before 6 am in the morning. I confirmed because it is their policy and there was no any other option for me at that time. I found another company and they charge $80 for it and I called Skyview back to cancel it. First I started to remind myself and I asked "do you remember me?" he said" how can i forget?" his voice was sarcastic and I said I want to cancel it and he shut the phone to my face. I thought the connection was interrupted and called them back again and he picked up the phone with anger and he started to yell to me "What do you want now?! you canceled it and you are calling me back again! what do you want? I just said "I was gonna say have a nice day" and he said" no no no you people are ruining our day! and he hang up the phone to my face again. Please be aware from this type of businesses. I live in Somerville and I have already submitted my complaints about Skyview Taxi to the Somerville Municipality. I will make couple serious complaints about this problem to the another institutions as well. People should be aware of this business. They must take some kind of action against them. I will never stop to follow up this issue until they will get some serious warning from public authorities. read more

The dispatcher who works on Saturday is horrible. Today she kept me waiting almost an hour for a cab. I was originally told 15,20 minutes. It turned out to be almost an hour. I called back several times. I am disabled. I have trouble standing. I told her that and I was worried I would fall. There was nowhere to sit. She said I had a phone, I should call an ambulance. I am a retired attorney. I think the way this employee treats elderly disabled customers is problematic. read more

I needed round-trip transportation to a medical facility and used Sky View. I was very happy with their service. The cab arrived at my home early, the driver was friendly and courteous, the cab was clean, and both trips went very smoothly. I would use them again. read more

Drivers are very nice and friendly but dispatch is rude and unsympathetic.

Just be wary of this place. They literally charged me $60 to go down the road from Somerville to Flemington. After robbing you they also charge you a mandatory tip fee. Don't use these thieves. It's places like them to why I will only use Uber from now on. read more

Dispatch is beyond rude; he makes potential customers feel as though they are interrupting him. After discussing a fare with him for 5 minutes and accepting his terms, he promised a pick-up for me and a friend at 12:15 am on 11/1/14. He never showed up, nor did he call the establishment where I was to state a reason for being late/not showing up. Luckily, I was fine to drive home. These tactics are dangerous...what if I had chosen to have more than 1 drink, knowing that I had a ride. Sky View is rude, expensive and unreliable. Agree with previous comments. Drivers are pleasant but definitely over priced. Also, all drivers charge different amounts for same exact trips. Dispatch is absolutely horrible. Please change this lady. She sounds absolutely miserable over the phone. I called for service. She was short and told me she was sending someone, and I quote, "they're on their way". I've taken this trip few times before and drivers are here within 10 minutes. Figuring there was traffic, after 40 minutes of waiting I called back and asked if driver was still on their way. I have used Sky View a few times. The drivers are nice. Dispatch is fast as well. They also don't mind doing really short trips. Today, I called for a quick ride and accidentally got in another company's taxi from the train station. (It was cold and I was ready to get home.) I called back to apologize for sending them up to the station for nothing and they were very nice. I definitely recommend them if you need a quick ride in Somerville. read more

I had mixed experience with skyview. Sometimes the dispatcher and the cab driver are friendly, polite and professional and sometimes it is just the opposite. I feel they are overpriced in their rates. It costs 12 USD to get a ride to somerset corp boulevard and it costs 3 usd more to next door which is just a mile away! read more

Maybe I just don't know how much taxi service costs in Hunterdon County NJ, but we were charged $75 plus $11.25 gratuity for a 14.4 mile ride. Perhaps they jack the price up when you're coming from the Ryland Inn? Outrageous. read more
