In the past, we had used Shreeji taxi services & we remember he showed up on time in a massive snow fall not disappointing us at all, & well so we clearly knew who to contact this time. We contacted Yogesh ji & explained everything , he immediately made us feel comfortable confirming he will check with Canadian border authorities & fulfill all the needed formalities to drive us. He also ensured all our belongings will fit in the van & yet we will comfortably be seated. Then he constantly was in touch with us exchanging information about him fulfilling the travel rules like covid testing , other reqd formalities etc. we contacted him several times to be sure & he always gave us confidence!! On the day of travel, we realized we had a lot more luggage than we thought, yet he arrived on time & ensured everything will be fitted, all our luggages were loaded with great care. He made us feel so comfortable in the journey stopping for coffee breaks or lunch breaks, offered us bottled water, keeping us entertained with interesting conversation & ofcourse he drives so cautiously & dropped us in our destination , unloaded everything & left with a big smile!! My wife was at work, so I couldn't ask her to remind me. I called MetroPark on April 3rd for a pickup on April 4th and spoke to 'Sid'. He seemed like a nice enough guy although he couldn't seem to either hear or understand what I was saying part of the time. He told me what the price would be for the pickup at our home and for the return trip, I gave him my credit card info and email and he said I would be receiving an email or text confirmation. By the morning of April 4th, I had still not received any confirmation but what I did receive was an almost $400 charge on my card from them. The agreed upon price I got on the phone was $120 each way. I called the main number back at 8:10 am on April 4th, got a different person, told them I had not received confirmation and asked why I was charged so much extra. He was rude and condescending, said it was sent and that I should check my spam email (which I had already done prior to calling), told me the extra fees were for gratuities and other expenses and added that I shouldn't book them if I can't afford it. Keep in mind that this comment comes from a semi-literate working at a taxi stand. Needless to say, I emphatically told him to cancel the service and hoped this would be the end of it. I then called my bank to give them the heads up about these charges as I would be out of the country for over a week. They explained that the charges were still pending, but I at least wanted it to be on record that I contacted them immediately. As I write this on April 13th, the charges were still on my card, so I filed a fraud complaint with my bank and the charges will be taken off. Also, we went with the car service we had previously used and they were honest, charged less, had a clean, new car and were top notch. Even our driver was a pleasure. To summarize, it is much easier to be an honest company who treats their clients with respect and good service than a vampiric parasite who tries to cheat honest people out of their money. You are only hurting yourselves in the long run through loss of business and reputation. MetroPark, are a few extra ill-gotten bucks really worth it?

I then contacted Metuchen on the morning of our flight, was quoted a lower price and our car arrived early. We had the pleasure of meeting JB in his very clean, new ride and off we went. We also arranged for pickup a little over a week later and sure enough, JB was calling me as soon as we got off the plane. I won't be forgetting this company again and highly recommend it. JB is very friendly, courteous and a heck of a nice guy. Not only that but he even delayed his Sunday grocery shopping in order to be there for us as our plane had arrived late.
