Wasn't real sure at first and as I've been through a few mental…read morehealth practitioners over the past 40 years so it starts out typically with the patient relating all the circumstances and issues that lead one to a therapist and in the past I've had dismal feedback and the doctor whipping out the prescription pad and sending you on your way but that was not the case with Dr Chaudrhi. He listens and your not sure if he's with you then all of a sudden he comes to life and starts giving you detailed feedback of what is going on. He's incredibly knowledgeable and then proceeds to outline different options and courses of treatment for what your dealing with. Mental health and psychiatry can be the most complicated and baffling medical disciplines we will deal with and therapists like Dr Chaudrhi are a true gift and he also has a great sense of humor. Anyone who has ever had ECT knows how painful it is for days after, it was listed in my record that the medication I was on was crucial and that I have tried every other medication, she refused to give it to me even though It helps with my cutting and suicidal thoughts, I can't get out of bed or stop crying and see know hope anymore. She refused my diagnosis and refused any help at all besides talking. She is an absolutely horrible person and dr., do not go to her or send a loved one to her.

And it was just a horrible experience if I was supposed to get rust. I was b*******. I didn't even have a real room. And I'm sure they're gonna charge my insurance for a real room. No TV no freaking door. This was so unfair. The nurse is taking care of me. Were great. They couldn't do nothing for me being stuck out in the corner. They don't even like it.

I am a diabetic and had to ask for my insulin multie time. My fever was not handled with medication unless I asked. All around wait times were 45 min or longer. I had to go to bathroom very basd and couldn't walk by myself as I was to weak,and almost messed myself trying to get help to bathroom. Never again will I go to this ED again.

She has been everything you would want from someone who wants their business to be successful, listens to both sides and recognizes that the facts are probably somewhere in the middle. After listening to my and my daughters' experience we have worked out a new arrangement that my daughter is comfortable with. I appreciate that not only did she hear what we had to say but she also was respectful to her employees. The follow up, calls and texts have been great and I hope moving forward those involved learn how good communication can work out well for both "sides"

The Good: I used to get my mental health care from this facility. My therapist at the time seemed…read moregenuine with their level of care, and their type of questioning was actually very helpful as it had been followed up with planning and a very direct path on how I could help myself. I did learn a lot and I am grateful for that period of time. The Bad: I had been referred to different types of group therapy. While I was hesitant, I still went, because I'm there to help myself. What I found in group therapy was a complete mess. It was very quickly apparent that the loudest person in the room would hold the floor for the whole session. This is so incredibly frustrating when you just feel like you're in a session to have someone say the same things every week, have the same problems every week, and have them hold the floor every week. It was beyond disappointing. I backed away from group therapy but still maintained my standard therapy sessions. My father got incredibly ill, very quickly, during this time. I had to travel a lot and ended up cancelling appointments due to the fact I was out of state helping my mother cope with my father dying. I got a call during this time that my therapist was no longer with the practice. That's fine. I still needed help and I'm not shy to having a new therapist, especially with the trauma of my father dying. What happened at that point, is I got a lot of automated phone calls and texts. I responded to all of them. I got a single call back at some point letting me know that they had found a therapist that could work with challenges. Then a couple days before my scheduled appointment, I got a voicemail saying that the therapist couldn't take me on. Then it went back to the automated phone calls and texts, with no way to actually reach someone. This went on for months until I received a letter in the mail stating that they were terminating me for non response. Completely baffling and beyond frustrating. Here I am, burying my father, responding to these automated things, and I get a letter saying I never reached back out. Heartbreaking. To sum it up, my therapist when things were good was actually great. Now reading other reviews, it's pretty clear that Gavia in general has a very difficult time with HIPPA violations and the general nonchalant environment when people need help. And reading some of the stories, I've definitely had other people walk into a session. However, I was lucky enough that the session would essentially pause and nothing was discussed in front of me, at least. But looking back, I wouldn't do it again. The therapist was good, but it's outweighed by layers of bad. I would honestly be careful if you care about your mental health: I'm not sure anyone reaches out repeatedly when they are stuck in limbo from the office, just to have a letter reach their house saying they never did.
