What blew me away was they washed my car and did the small touches like air freshener. The next day I got a phone call from them just to make sure everything was running right. Amazing. In all the years, I never had a single issue with H&J. They were mechanics with integrity. The new owner of "J&J" lied to me several times throughout my first experience under his command. When confronted regarding the initial lies, he constructed more lies. Expect him to "find" problems with your vehicle and expect an inflated bill because of it. Do not expect him to have your vehicle ready when he agrees to. Do not expect a courtesy call to inform you that it's not actually ready yet either. Expect no one to answer the phone at the shop for hours after the agreed upon pickup time. Above all, expect him to prioritize his road service over your scheduled appointment and to lie about the reasons your service was delayed. These interactions are difficult to summarize into words. Something you unfortunately understand following a first hand experience. If you want to feel like you were taken advantage of and lied to, this is your guy. The new owner of J&J recently acquired this business. Most of the positive google reviews are older and should be credited to the former owners only. Those guys were worth their weight in gold. Went to get an aftermarket midpipe installed they charged me 350 for less than an hours worth of…read morework and when I asked why so much they said it's because they used there own nails and other excuses, I specifically told them all the nails and instructions are in the box. Completely ripped me off the guy kept arguing with me that it's 350 and wouldn't budge when a midpipe is literally one of the easiest things to install and doesn't take more than an hour, I do not recommend them if you're trying to get a part installed they charge way too much for little work.
