Jeff Beadnell made several promises about handling my divorce case efficiently and keeping me informed, which he did not follow through on. To make matters worse, he went on vacation without giving me any notice, leaving my case hanging at a critical time. This lack of communication and professionalism and working so closely with my ex's attorney to get what they wanted made me realize he was not on my side at all. The office staff answers the phones on speaker so everyone around hears what is being said. Complete disarray at this law group and way overpriced for the services received. I was so disgusted with broken promises that I was forced to hire a different attorney to complete my case in my favor. This group does not even deserve one star.

We were referred to this lawyer by Dr. Forest who treated my husband when a…read morelittle sheltie broke through a weak spot in our fence and bit my dog in the throat while ripping my husband apart in the process. This lawyer seemed very sympathetic initially on the phone, proceeded to reassure us, bring us al the way down from Torrington knowing we were missing work, and seemed very certain we had a good case. He assured us several times he would help us, partially because of being referred by a contact of his, and even held to it when we established our challenges with the breed of our dog even though she didn't fight back. We left his office very disappointed. At the time we were able to have him review the reports, he gave us a call saying he got the reports, that he couldn't navigate through the difficulties, and that the people claiming our dog attacked their dog have three years within the statutes of limitations to see that through. He did not seem to know his information very well because every time we spoke, he said something different. I finally received a template letter stating he could not represent us or defend us in our case and that we should seek consultation with another attorney. After all of that. Don't waste your time! The attorney we DID consult after him, won our cases and protected us. Imagine that.   Eight years later, this quack is bold enough to leave a comment stating my dog did all the damage haha that's why my husband ended up in the hospital having his arm and finger sewn back together after that little sheltie bit its own owner in the face... What a wet match in a dark cave of an ambulance chaser.

Terrible experience w/ Atty Volman, Would not file Mandatory…read moreDisclosure and Production motion for divorce proceedings. Tried to discuss what he advises other clients about Paternity. His response was : Does she look like you.. I took that as an insult and didn't continue discussion. Atty Volman on his own went to the opposing counsel questioning wife's fidelity and that I wasn't the father of my daughter. Extent of his style - Opposing side sent their proposed settlement and I was told to look at it, mark up changes and he'd fax it over. No written objections nor typed out counter proposal. Lastly, after severe frustration, I had to change lawyers - Atty Volman now refuses to give me a copy of my entire file. In fact, he said that if I ever come to his office I will be ARRESTED. . I am confused, if I am charged for over $13k in legal fees shouldn't I be privy to my entire file..?
