We got the funghi assoluti, meatball and carbonara dish. The funghi assoluti was a nice start, the mushroom is crispy which really added texture and flavour to the arugula making it a unique and delicious starter. The pasta is freshly made and cooked to perfection. The bacon was crisp and salty balancing out the dish very well. Before leaving, I stopped by their grocery section and picked up a couple of gelato bars and some bombolini. They had nutella and custard, with a featured flavour, which his creme brulee. They sugar and torched it with a light custard inside. I had those later in the day and tasted very fresh and delicious! I'd love to go back to try their pizza and maybe pick up some croissants too. I really enjoyed my experience here! The only concern is the washroom is situated in the basement. Eager to try, I decided to venture in and look at the offering. They definitely have a good selection of pantry, dairy, snacks and bulk items. The fresh food section is not as great but the rest of the products make up for it. The staff is friendly and the store has great products at low prices. It's nice to be able to shop organic and natural products without breaking the bank!
