Having said that, I finally headed into G&F after finding out that they're Hobart's only stockist of Shanghai Suzy lipsticks, which are amazingly cheap for what they are, at only $12.95 a pop for a crazily pigmented nourishing lippie in exceptional on-trend colours. As it turns out, I also happened to first visit the week of G&F's first anniversary. No anniversary sale, so I managed to purchase my lipsticks and escape back out of there... mentally adding a few things to my wishlist as I went.

Perhaps it was my mistake in not taking it to a jeweller that advertises repairs. Perhaps it was my mistake for bringing in a ring that wasn't from the Francesca Collection, but I assumed that due to the delicate care given to her own jewellery, she'd understand the importance of other precious pieces. I handed over a ring back in November 2014 and got no assertive contact from the business regarding the delay in repair--it took me checking in every month or so on the status of it to make sure it was still on the to-do list, despite the girls having my details. I finally got my repaired ring in early April 2015. Four stars for Francesca's rings, one star for the repair situation. I'm still going to shop there.
