I contacted Allform to inquire about repairing 10 welds on a riding, lawnmower deck. They said they could pick it up, but I could save money if I brought it in instead. I took it in the same day and dropped it off. About an hour later they called and said it was complete. The price was reasonable and the service was lightning quick. We bought a back seat for our Kawasaki 2014 Mule so our kids could go for rides. The mounting holes did not line up so we needed a bracket so the mount could slide over a few inches. We brought our Mule to Allform Welding in Sequim and talked with the owner Dan. He said he could do it no problem. A few days later we picked up the Mule. They charged us over $200 dollars. Yes, that is not a typo folks TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. Dan actually wrote the job up as several hours worth of work. This was a half hour job. And the brackets were not even aligned properly so the chair sits at an angle to the edge of the bed. This was one of the worst experiences ever! When I called Dan he was unwilling to make any changes. We also had Dan work on our gate. Be advised Dan charges for every single minute that he is even thinking about the job. He charged the minute he left the shop. He even charged for going back to the shop to get equipment he should have had in his truck. Finally, he was dishonest and told us that our gate could not open and close in one cycle or click of the remote. So for a year we had to sit there and wait for the gate to open and then click it again to make it close! Total Pain! Later I found out from the gate maker that they do this due to liability reasons and that all we needed to do was to change one simple setting. Dan could have told us that and given us the opportunity to make that change ourselves. I would never in a million years recommend Allform Welding to anyone for any reason. I do not recommend this company. We needed a second handrail installed on our front porch (They did one in the back a few years ago). They never bothered to come back with a quote. She spent a very long time measuring, but didn't bother to put a quote together. We will never give them our biz again. read more
