Customer service! It has been a rough ride from the start. Communication is extremely important in this type of business. I receive hundreds of emails messages texts and voicemails everyday. If your business is just sending ONE of each of those, you're losing already. RESPECT and ...well, I'm a southern Belle so I'll start with COURTESY. Don't be sarcastic to anyone, especially when a person calls to cancel their contract. That contract may could be saved with a little " sugar & spice" and everything nice. Attacking a person because of their decision or opinion (of wanting to cancel the contract) is not proper. Preaching negative comments about other companies (debt relief) is not showing integrity in your job. Sarcasm and negativity have no place in customer service, from the customer or cs employee. This is a transaction being handled by an employee and probably a very frustrated about life in general kind of person who feels like there has been no light in site since your company took over her cc &personal loan debt. She still pays other bills and everything is costing more and more. She can only afford to rent a bedroom in somebody's home. She probably doesn't have a vehicle or any family to help. Maybe she just lost her mom or sister. It doesn't cost anything to be nice. Maybe another minute of your time. I'm grateful for what Alleviate did do for my accounts. I wish I could've gotten a link that worked to get in my portal to understand the contract better. I wish things had ended on a proper and positive note when I called to cancel today. I'll pray for the lady I spoke with. I personally would never hire her for customer service anywhere in the world (my opinion, everybody has one) . It is a job...not a personal vendetta. This company is the worst company I have ever worked with. When you sign on with the sales people at Lendvia, it all sounds amazing on paper but as you go deeper into the program, you begin to realize there is a sinister and corrupt system running at Alleviate. I paid every single payment with them for a year and a half on time twice a month. Yes, did they make settlements, sure, but when I sent over 11k to graduate early, I began to witness the games they play with their customers in order to maximize their profit as they are a business but they aren't here to help the creditors or you...just themselves and IF they can, they may help you but you'll end up doing their job because they no incentive to graduate you early even when you have more than enough money in your alleviate account because if you graduate early, they don't make as much money. After my large amount of money was sitting in my account for three months and I didn't see any movement on my settlements, I canceled my debt program. Mind you, I called the creditor they sat on for three months and the creditor was super super helpful in resolving my two last debts that alleviate couldn't accomplish in three months. When you call Alleviate, you get dragged around in circles and zero accountability while talking to people who sound like idiots and robots and have no clue what they are talking about and read scripted responses based on what you say. If you are with them, make sure everything is in writing otherwise n they will play games with you even more. I can guarantee some idiot at Alleviate will respond to my review but DO NOT Fall for their lies and evil sales tactics. They DO NOT care for you and THEY ARE NOT here for you. This company is in multiple lawsuits for violating laws -- google it and you will see. I'm lucky I had the ability to get out of my agreement with them and leave this all behind me without legal trouble due the me hustling my ass off to reclaim my life but many become farther in their debts to the point of serious legal troubles/bankruptcy. They claim they are saving you money but if you look at how much they take out in fees, you are better off making agreements with the creditors yourselves and not getting yourself in a worse position. They are awful. I have been with them for a year and two of my creditors have confirmed they never even contacted them. I enrolled in their debt settlement program in good faith and paid approximately $10,900 over the course of the program. Despite that, one of my settlements ultimately failed and now they say it must be negotiated all over again. They have acknowledged collecting their success fee even though the settlement was later lost. I have repeatedly requested a complete accounting showing where all of my money went, including deposits, fees, payments to creditors, and the remaining balance in my dedicated account, but I still have not received a full reconciliation. Instead of providing clear answers, I have had to file complaints and continue asking for basic documentation that should have been readily available. If you're considering a debt settlement company, make sure you understand exactly how fees are charged, what happens if a settlement fails, and demand complete transparency regarding your funds. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. read more

I randomly found this company looking to consolidate my credit card debt, and this company has been helpful and I'm going on 2 years with them and I'm close to being out of CC debt , the payment plan was easy to meet and I increased it so I can get through it faster, I have it set up to pay them on every paycheck. The bad thing of course is your credit takes a hit while going through this but hopefully as soon as I'm done with this it'll go back up. Horrific company. Lied to us on multiple occasions. Paid them over $2400 and they took nearly $1900 in fees in just 10 weeks. They knew we were older and disabled. Do not trust these sleazy people. This company back in August 2022 told me that everything should be completely done in 36 months here we are more than 36 months out and I still have debt they don't settle in a quick resolution manner. My credit score has gone down from 740 to like 520 and it did not go back up after "a year or so. " They also suck the life out of you; every time we have to talk to them on the phone and I don't want a response from this review because it's just gonna be excuses and "policy" just like their company. read more

I've been sent 3 emails stating that accounts in my program couldnt be found. 2 of which, I had to litigate and settle out of court myself, after a few attempts at trying to get this company to help with the matter it fell on deaf ears. Then, they had the audacity to ask for paperwork to remove said accounts which should be non of their concern and a privacy issue because what are my financial matters outside of this company any of your concern--especially when they couldnt even return calls or emails about the matter in the first place. Also, the accounts being "not found" I have the paperwork from enrollment stating otherwise.
