I have been going to Allergy & Asthma Care for over 20 years. The competencies of their staff have gone downhill dramatically. First of all the Springdale/Tri County office did not order the new vial as they said they were going to. I went for my shot 4 weeks later only to discover that THEY DIDN'T ORDER THE VIALS. So once the vial came in, I received my 1/2 dosage shot. I told them I wanted to start going to Kenwood and they said they would get the vials there in time for my full dose in two weeks. I called Kenwood to confirm they got the vials and they said they didn't. The woman said she would research and get back to me. SHE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I called again and confirmed they had the vials but when I went in for a shot (a little bit over the two weeks), they would only give me a half dose again ... NOT MY FULL DOSE. If I could give zero stars I would. Unbelievable that they cannot do what they tell patient they will do and then the patient has to pay to consequences. read more

I started going to this location after my previous allergist retired. From the beginning they seemed to take for granted that they would have all his previous clients. When I would go in, they would mostly go through the motions, asking me questions that they already had the answers to as they had all my charts from my previous doctor. They would keep me waiting for long periods of time and I would feel like I was only going in to get my prescription filled, rather than them adding something to the visit. I've had multiple problems with them refilling prescriptions as well. The pharmacy would call and the office would never send over the refill. I would have to call the office directly, sometimes twice, to get the prescription filled. And now I have to weigh the convenience of their location with the level of service and care I received. I'm not sure if I want to continue being their patient. read more

Wonderful Allergist. I also love the small office feel of just having two Allergist. I have known their nurses since the 1980's under various previous doctor practices for years. I just do not like other allergy practices with big groups with lots of doctors. But, I love Allergy and Asthma Care. I love that this allergy practice has both the science and art of allergy medicine and they have chosen to have an medical office with only two doctors, it makes a real difference. read more

So far, good service with out issues. Treatment had been very accurate for over 15 years. 3 of my Dr had been retire in the same practice, I'm going on my 4th and the transition had been smooth. When Dr. Raub switched from tri health to this place I was happy to follow because he had always taken time to help me with my severe asthma that affects every part of my day to day. Ever since coming here it's been nothing short of a nightmare, yes a nightmare. The nurses and staff are so rude and will basically do nothing to help you when you say "please help me, I just had a baby I can't end up in the hospital". I mean you can truly tell they don't care, when I went in for my postpartum visit the nurse actually had no idea I was a patient and started doing new patient paperwork, I've only had issues at this place and am leaving for a new allergist, which sucks after 7 years. They will literally take 2 months to get a PA processed, when if I make all the calls it will get processed same day. I was calling all day yesterday to get my medicine and the lady basically told me it would be up to 72 hours, I said in 72 hours I'll be in the hospital without this medicine, so I made the calls myself and what I needed done was completed immediately, I guess I need some of your salary since I have to do your job every single time. Some people have no idea what it's like to wake up everyday and wonder if today you'll have to rush yourself to the ER for another asthma attack. The nurses here are in the wrong line of work because you can really FEEL how they don't care for you at all. After numerous times getting screwed by this office I'm finally fed up. I'm always weary of bad reviews and thinking oh maybe they just had a bad experience, no this place is just awful and heartless and that's pretty sad for somewhere that's just supposed to help you breath. read more

I came here about 2 months ago after my doctor retired because he recommend them and they agreed to take over his patients. I figured since they are closer then my old doctor after I had moved I would give them a try. Well after 2 months I am still getting the courage to go back and give them a last try. I have a feeling it was the perfect storm but still there was no reason for what happened. I had called ahead to make sure they had my file transferred and they said no problem just come on in. So I did. When I got there I signed in and I told me a was a transfer patient. They handed me paperwork to fill out and asked me basic questions. No problem. The problem is it clearly says if you are not called back for your shot in 15 min please see the front desk. Well how about 45 min wait. Even when the front desk says they will call you back soon. I waited and almost left. I should have. The reason I say the perfect storm is because they were also getting a new system in place but there is no reason I can't get me shot while they try to figure out how to enter my information. I did get my shot after 45 min wait and then when I went to pay they tell me a price $4.00 more then my old doctor I understand a price to be a little different and so I asked if there is a discount for self pay as I don't have insurance I am told I have to call their billing department for that. Horrible horrible service would never go back. They failed the test that they gave us which came back with inconclusive results. Instead of retesting they went off the patient file and still charged us for the test. In every other aspect of life if someone screws up something they dont get paid for it, but not here. Charged a new patient of $259 to look at a chart from their previous doctor. I would not recommend anyone go here and we are actively looking for new doctors. read more
