Both were incredibly fatphobic and instead of offering the standard of care for sleep apnea focused on weight loss even after I explained that I wasn't interested in discussing it. They did not listen to me, the patient. They engaged in fat shaming. Dr. Xiwu Sun actually looked me up and down at one point and said, "I guess you're not that obese."

The practice desperately needs better staff training and management oversight. I've been a…read morelong-time patient because the doctor is good, but the staff at this practice--especially the nurses--can be unprofessional and disrespectful. I interacted with the office manager to get her feedback and she herself was unprofessional and dismissive. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and adds unnecessary stress to patients already trying to get care.
