For one I tried for weeks to get someone to answer. I was travel threw Memphis to see my sister n her family thought it be a great way to spend the day together. I left messages. I called n called. No luck. Glad I didn't put all my eggs in one basket . We ended up going to Redneck Island. Was a serious blast. And best part they answered there phone:)) read more

So my friend and I finally got through to Allen and we scheduled a Kayaking session for a Sunday evening and agree to meet Allen at a park off the river. So Sunday rolls around and we arrive at the park and decide to call Allen to confirm our meeting site since we underestimated the size of the park and the first thing he mentions is "oh nobody called you and told you we canceled due to the weather." Ummmm no. First of all the day was cloudy and there had been a slight drizzle earlier but no heavy rain, second of all we spent our time and money getting there for absolutely nothing. It was a frustrating experience. Allen offered to meet use somewhere else and to reschedule but since we were visiting from out of town neither option was suitable. We understand sometimes there are circumstances that are out of anyone's control but the least he could have done was call to let us know. No phone call, no voicemail, nothing. After weeks of trying to get a hold of someone just to schedule a session this just put the cherry on top. I don't like writing negative reviews and it's been years since I've actually felt motivated to write anything but this business is just the absolute worst. I don't recommend it at all, do yourself a favor save yourself the headache, time and money. read more

Allen is a blast! He's very professional and experienced in what he does. You can tell he's done this for a long time. He took the time to be sure that I was paddling correctly, made sure I was safe at all times, and was an excellent conversationalist. He also does camping trips. Allen is absolutely amazing!! I went on a girls kayaking trip and he took the time to really walk me through all the correct steps to having a good time kayaking . Although it took me a good hour to learn Allen had so much patience with me . My girlfriends and I did a 18 mile trip and he managed to take us on a amazing trip through the Mississippi River and keep us all safe .He even bought a healthy lunch that included a healthy wrap , fruits, veggies , drinks, and chips !!
