The outdoor temps are low 30s and will be 22° tonight. The "answering service" has sent the info to the office twice now and no one has called me back. For reference, today is Sunday. Do not expect any after hours or emergency service from this business. The previous owners would be horrified at this pathetic customer service! DO NOT recommend this business unless you like sweating to death with no A/C or your home hovering at 50° on a weekend in January.

Because it was low on freon, it was kicking off the fan each time it would come on. I found Clark's prices for freon to be outrageous. Was it because I was an older lady by myself and he thought I didn't know any better? I don't know, but I own several rentals and know what freon costs. Anyway, I shut him down and told him to do nothing, paid the basic service fee and sent him on his way. I called Allen's Heating and Air, they came same day, added same amount of freon as Clark's was recommending. Even with paying a second service fee plus the freon, my bill from Allen's Heating and Air was literally half what Clark was going to charge. Needless to say, I Do Not recommend Clark's Heating and Air.

Initially I used Price Heating and Cooling for electric installation when I moved my RV on a…read moreprivate lot that was not set up for an RV. Service was completed in a timely manner for a fair price. I called again when I needed electrical work done for my parents and then again for an estimate on having new AC unit installed. After talking with Mr. Price we decided it was better for us to install mini splits instead of a big unit as many of the rooms are only used part of the time! It was a great decision and the work was completed on our schedule. We love the mini splits and the fact that air or heat does not have to be run to heat or cool the rooms not in use! Mr. Price is a good person and has helped us with various small projects while he was here including installing a small wheelchair ramp mother had ordered. He is our 1st call for any project we need!

The pricing seemed a little high though for the 30 minutes they spent. Because I was a first time customer, the $69.00 service fee was waived since work was done. That was enticing when I first called but later realized this was simply offset in the work fee. The work charge came out to $156.00 plus a TFS fee of $14.75 (no idea what a TFS fee is) for a total of $170.75. Assuming drive time of 30 minutes and onsite work of 30 minutes, that hour should have billed out at $75.00 to $100.00.
