I pulled into the parking lot and couldn't believe there was a parking spot right up front. I generally park to the back for extra steps, but as it was 112 out, and felt like I was stepping into the bowels of hell, I was grateful. The only good thing about the day was that I could feel my fat melting. Lol I walked in and saw there were only two small rows of shopping carts. It's all they need. This store was tiny compared to most and it was so refreshing! There was like no one there even though it was right after working hours for most people. Not one associate ignored me as I walked by. Every single one said hello or offered assistance. It was like the early 90's when I worked at Walmart and people still cared. I grabbed everything I needed and went to the checkout, where there was no line! I was literally behind one person and other lanes were open. Dang! The lady checking me out was so nice and down to earth, I hated to end the conversation! I would love to come back to this location!!

We made it a point to come back today to check it out. First, I will say it was one of the cleanest DG's I've been to. There were a few staff members to assist if needed, and this is not normally the case. Just as it's name implies, it's also a grocery, having the standard dry goods, dairy, and microwave items that DG has, but incorporating meats and produce as well. Of course you'll pay for the convenience as I noticed ground beef was $6.50 per pound, where Walmart is currently like $3.87 per pound for the same type. All in all, I would definitely shop in there if I lived here as it was clean, convenient, and stocked well.

For the past couple of years, hubby has gotten the dark chocolate fondant white cake here for his birthday. The bakery here used to be excellent. This review is based 100% on the Tire Store at this location. We have a tire blowout while out if…read moretown and had to use our mini spare tire to get from Durant Ok to Thackerville while on Vacation. It happened on a Saturday night, and we thought that all Tire stores would be closed on Sunday making us have to stay an extra day. Sunday, I started looking for Tire stores and was surprised that Walmart has a location about 15 miles away and they were open on Sunday. They were the only place in town or anywhere close that could replace this tire. We arrived at about 3:30 on 4/23/2023 and the manager came and greeted us and after inspecting the tire informed us that the side walls were shot, and the tire would have to be replaced. We had just put 4 new tires on this car less than a month ago, but the damage was obvious. The man gave us an estimate and a couple of options that were reasonable IMO. He checked stock and had a tire for us. He said he was a man down and it may take about an hour and a half for them to get it done. I am not a fan of Walmart and hate to shop our wait for work to be completed. While my wife can spend days and much money in any Walmart in the Country. I just wanted to get it done and get back to our hotel. Well to my surprise in less than 30 minutes they were done with our car. I want to shout out to the shop manager and Russell for the quick work. Thye both totally impressed me with their Customer service.
