I have personally hired this team on a number of occasions (I am a Carpenter) in residential and commercial situations. I have also recommend them to many friends and pears, with success, so they deserve a YELP. One of the best things about this company is they will offer up the cheapest most effective solution to your problem. They can also recommend some trades solutions, options of others who can actually fix it and make it happen. Anyways thumbs up, this is the team I call fist. -Always glad to help

Upon tearing out my basement I discovered I had a few cracks in my foundation... mostly hairline…read morebut they were very long. I wasn't worried, but I wanted to cover my ass in case I sell the house. So I called a few engineers that stated they do residential buildings and settled on BIE. I was told the engineer would show up between 11-12:30. They didn't how up until right at 12:30, which did annoy the hell out of me. But he did apologize. The cost of the drawings ended up being a little more than what I was quoted but nothing serious (and a whole lot less than having any contractor come out). I look at drawings for a living (not architectural anymore) and I instantly found mistakes on the drawings and in the report. I also found conflicting information between the report and drawings. So I sent an email to the company listing out all the discrepancies. I did receive a revised report, but I never received any revised drawings or even a message about the drawings. It's not hard to rectify the drawings... I used to be a designer/draftsman for an architect. The amount of mistakes that were on the drawing would only take 10 minutes to fix. My experience with the company shows how terribly unprofessional they are. I don't know if it's because I'm just a person, not a company looking for repeat work, but I cannot recommend this firm for anybody to use.
