All started with a small handyman job installing an HDTV antenna and rotor, progressed into quoting at least 10 jobs. Pricing was excellent and transparent; work was promptly completed with high-quality workmanship and material, i.e. used structural screws instead of nails. When looking at a project, he often saved us money by suggesting and repurposing materials versus complete removal and waste. Also found that our carpet covered steps had unfinished oak treads - sanded, stained and re-trimmed with matching handrail work - nice! We now have a new very nice brick and stone paved patio, a stand-alone pavilion, re-designed all-season room, new LVP flooring in lower level of house, new ramp for our large shed (which needed work to correct issues from previous contractor) new/repaired steel front stair railings, plumbing work, etcetera. The owner of this business is a very busy, all-work oriented individual who concentrates on his work. Difficult to find a business with such dedication to each job and the particular, often customized details. Wife and I planning more work in near future, will certainly hire again. Thank you, Bill & Michelle

Searched…read more"painters" and came up Pro Painter in New Castle, along with several others but thought I would give him a try since he had free estimates. Checked the website (and Yelp) and figured I needed to talk with Jose G. Called number and answered "Hello?" Me: "Uhh, Jose?" "Yeah?" So it went like that for few but I had the right place. Jose is Hispanic but understood everything I asked when I slowed down a bit. He said no problem on an estimate a couple of days later and to text him my address. So he stopped out, we reviewed the work, he quoted a price (one I was very happy with at the time). Told him I would talk over with my wife and get back. Texted couple of days later and we agreed on a price. He wanted to come over on Saturday and start pressure washing then paint Monday. Worked for me! Blasted out all areas on Saturday. ..was there for a couple of hours at most. Then came out on Monday at 8am to paint. Caulked and finished all surfaces, laid down a coat of primer then two coats of Sherwin Williams super paint. Cleaned up and was done by 6pm. One man show with 6 extension ladders. I'm very happy with how it turned out...looks brand new. Clean up was OK. Had some left over caulk laying about but nothing major. Would have taken me 3 solid days anyhow. Licensed, bonded, insured? I have no idea...not an Angie's List guy myself. Price was right, he seemed honest and nice enough, work looked good. Will defintely call Jose for future work.

I would like to take a moment and thank Jeff Burchett, owner of New Castle Flooring and his crew…read morefor the outstanding job. We had a couple of estimates and decided to get a third one. So happy that we did. We went in and the son of the owner was very professional and showed us some samples. We told him that we wanted it done soon. They were here within a few days to measure. Since it had to be ordered, it took a couple of weeks and we were called immediately when it arrived and date was set. We have had lots of flooring throughout the years. This is the best we have ever had. They did an excellent job installing and never wasted any time getting it done. We have had so many compliments. They also stand behind their product. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any type of flooring.

Fir starters they measured incorrectly ordering over one hundred square feet extra. Jeff burchett, the owner verbally harassed me when I asked for a refund. He told me that if I didnt "play nice" with him that he wouldn't help me out because , "I already have your money and I di not care about your opinion" he proceeded to hang up the phone on me! After much debate between my contractor him and myself my contractor went to henry county flooring with our extra flooring where jeff wrote us a PARTIAL refund check. When I cashed the check (that was written for 280 but should have been 500) the check BOUNCED!! I have been harassed by the woman working there and still, several months later I have not received my money or even an apology. They now owe me 520 (20 extra for the check bounce fee) and they REFUSE to pay it unless I take them to court!!! I have shed so many tears and I been taken complete advantage of. It would be a huge mistake to allow henry county flooring to do any of your flooring needs.

The seller Clay was related to the realtor companies Jamie which we later found out they were relatives . 6 months into our home and we've ran in a multiple amount of problems. First day after signing the basement flooded because of the sump pump which was "new" . They "replaced it " but it flooded due to the pit not being installed correctly . Afterwards we attempted to contact the warranty company and it was told we're unable to use our warranty (HMS HOME WARRANTY)due to it being a pre existing problem for the "new heat pump " we had the hvac company who installed the system come and check it out he stated that he explained to the seller the system wouldn't work well but was told to do the work as the equipment (which wasn't new) couldn't be returned. We had to use space heaters for the winter. We were told a " new roof " was installed but we still have leaks in the house during cold weather as no ice shield was installed.
