I'l make a long, horrible, story short…read more October 30th, 2019- My car was parked, a lady hit the rear end of it, I got the police report, and faxed it over. The car was drive able- with minimum damage. Pretty open and closed case. I was told that within 24 hours that an adjuster would contact me- that was 2 months ago. My agent notified me that there was 'nothing that they could do', and that I was to call the 'at fault's' insurance company, to try to get a settlement. Wow! What GREAT service! WHAT an I paying for? I had to get my car inspected in December, and while doing so- I had the dealership take it down to the body shop, to get an estimate to submit to Dietz and Bluett. That was because there was NO adjuster to look over my car, and NO appointment to even do so- TWO MONTHS LATER!!!!! I called the 'at fault's' insurance company (The Hartford) and she mentioned the obvious fact that it sounded like somebody was NOT dong their job. She had me send over the estimate, which was less than $700.00...The lady felt so bad for me that she contacted her supervisor, and then The Hartford cut me a check, and set up my rental car. NOT Nationwide/Allied Dietz and Bluett~ They have done NOTHING for me....I'm still shaking my head over this one....UNREAL! Nobody seemed to know what was going on with my claim, these IDIOTS up there had the claim flied as closed, and that they would have to re-open it......Are you kidding me? IDIOTS! That's who is running Dietz and Bluett- IDIOTS! Since this nightmare of less than poor service from Dietz and Bluett- I called them, and mentioned the fact that I was leaving Nationwide, after being a loyal, longstanding customer with them for over 20 years. They didn't seem to care. Not at all...They don't care. Nationwide is on your side? Nope. Are you kidding me? Today, January 8th 2020: I switched over to Allstate. I'm so happy to get rid of Nationwide, and most all those smug, unethical, unorganized, idiots, at Dietz and Bluett.
