This store has two floors, first floor is mostly women's and second floor houses the men's apparel, children's, and items w/ additional discount. Workers are pretty helpful from what I've experienced and always super kind. They seem to have good inventory of all sizes, which is why I LOVE COMING HERE! Highly recommend!

I was stressed out because my phone was almost dead (I don't get good reception in Maine and it was eating up my battery, but I needed to use the GPS to figure out where we were going. Plus my iphone is just old and doesn't hold a charge well anymore) and the guy working there offered to let me use his iphone charger and moved a bunch of stuff around and climbed under a table to plug it in. He definitely went above and beyond! He was so friendly and helpful the entire time, offering to grab whatever we wanted from back, basically bending over backward to make sure we had a good experience. He gave my mom a great discount so she ended up three pairs of shoes from him and was VERY happy. I found a great pair of men's shoes I wanted and the helpful sales explained how to convert women's shoes sizes to men's sizes. I was worried I'd get weird looks for buying men's shoes (since I present as female I sometimes sale people can be rude about me buying men's clothing), but he was totally chill about it, and assured me it happened all the time and I shouldn't feel awkward. We chatted about our pet cats while my mom shopped and it was honestly the best shoe buying experience I've ever had. A+ customer service!

I think we all know how pricey Bean's can be. Which is why we hit the sales when they come, every time. I saw such cute sweaters and jackets, and the keychains all the girlies were crazy for last summer. Those keychains are EXPENSIVE though - $26 for a small charm and loop of cord? Crazy if you ask me. I snagged one of the Three Potato Four keychains for $11, which I thought was reasonable. Every staff member we met was so incredibly friendly, so even if you don't buy anything, just browsing is still fun. They ask if you need help, wish you good morning, but it doesn't feel too constant which can sometimes happen elsewhere.

I actually still have the backpack somewhere at home & it held up well... 14 years later. Super spacious & held all of the many textbooks I used to have to carry around as a kid, with EASE. I honestly still have so much love for the brand & wear my shearling-lined Bean boots every winter, as well as their wicked good moccasins! I believe I had gotten the bean boots as a gift ALMOST 10 years ago and never thought about replacing them because to this day, they still look brand new! Very comfortable & WARM. Anyways, I absolutely love visiting L.L Bean in Freeport, ME & btw, you have to visit all their stores in this campus. They have their Flagship store, this outlet store, & speciality stores (home, fishing, biking, & ski gear).
