Dr. Andrew Rahn: Dr. Rahn is a professional. He had good bedside manners, was competent and friendly. If I was just reviewing him, this place would get a perfect score. Reception Area: The clinic looks clean and welcoming. Lisa was personable and friendly. Communications: We had communication issue with the other staff members. I spoke with Diana and followed up with an email. After 5 emails and 3 telephone calls, I finally received a call from Lisa regarding instructions. Now, seeing a dentist by itself can be very stressful, but going in to get 2 wisdom teeth extracted is certainly frightening and unbearable. Given the circumstances, I would think a professional office would set our minds at rest by communicating our fears and concerns with us. Instead, they chose to ignore our concerns. I find this quite disturbing. Insurance: I asked that they check with our insurance company to see what would be covered. I was informed that they couldn't do that until the day of the appointment. At the day of appointment, they would do any work until we paid the premium. (2.5 of 5) Location: Easy to find but parking can be a bear.

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Danielson by our dentist, Dr. Larson. My wife has been hesitant…read moreabout visiting the dentist office due to an abundance of horrible experiences in the past. I am pleased to say that Dr. Danielson was great. He was extremely polite. He took his time while explaining different procedures as well as the best course of action to take. He apologized for all of the rotten dentist that my wife had encountered and ensured that he would make her visit and procedure pleasant. Dr. Danielson was even knowledgeable of my wife's rare bone condition and explained the correlation of problems that are taking place with her teeth and her bones. Dr. Danielson was an excellent choice. The 5 star rating is for him only. His staff however is another story. I will start with Genevieve, the receptionist. When we walked in her greeting was dull and bland, just a, hi and what was the name and appointment time. There was no professional courtesy extended to my wife during her conversation with her as far as making her feel welcomed as a new patient. She asked my wife for our insurance information, so my wife told her it should be on file due to the fact that her chart, x-rays and financial information were e-mailed over from her dentist. Genevieve told my wife she could look it up but it would take to long. So my wife asked me to give her our insurance card. She handed my wife the new patient paperwork to fill out. My wife gave Genevieve a printed copy (JPEG) of her own dental x-rays that our dentist gave to her. She asked Genevieve if she could make a copy of them and give them to Dr. Danielson. (she did not do it. When we went back to see Dr. Danielson, the x-rays were not in her file). While we were sitting in the reception area filling out the paperwork, a person of a different nationality walked in. My wife and I heard, Hi, how are you today. The gentleman replied fine thank you. He told her his name and appointment time and she replied. Ok Great the Dr. will see you shortly, you can have a seat. My wife and I just looked at each other and shook our heads. I looked up to see if maybe a new receptionist had taken over. No. It was Genevieve. Selective greetings and reluctant interpersonal interactions based on race is so unprofessional. We are African American. The other gentleman was Caucasian.

UPDATE ON ME : I went home to Sacramento area saw my own…read moredentist, he sent me to an entodontist (sp) who did a root canal on a different tooth that was needed , even though Robin Reisz never found , even though I told her it hurt. That doc sent me back to my REGULAR dentist NOT an oral surgeon and low and behold I took my valium and h pulled the tooth (#18) WITH NO PROBLEM...my 7 y/o grandson sat and watched the whole thing. Robin Reisz should go to dental school again and re-learn how to treat patients and how to pull teeth and how to control her office staff. I WILL be filing a formal complaint , as she was negligent in her duties . She should have just come out and said that they canceled my appointment , without my knowing and already had my time slot filled instead of making all the excuses from you don't like me all the way to I needed to be in a hospital setting to have the tooth pulled. MY actual DENTIST pulled the tooth in the same chair I get my teeth cleaned in, no problems, no swelling, no pain NEVER GO TO THIS "ORAL SURGEON" she hides behind excuses ,and was not a straight talker, at least to my husband and I...excuses-excuses I needed a tooth pulled and all she had was excuses and stories about how good she thinks she is. STAY AWAY
