3.5 stars! We were looking for a place that wasn't too expensive for dinner and we came across this place because of people waiting outside for it to open for dinner service. We checked out the menu which had a bunch of pizzas and gnocchi and risotto. The place is really cute inside - very bohemian and eclectic just like the neighborhood, with the vintage decor and the polka dotted tablecloths. We were given Spanish menus, amd one of the servers later gave us a English-Spanish ingredient glossary thing to help us decipher the menu. There is an English menu outside of the restaurant, but I guess they don't have copies of it for inside. We decided to order the pizza lecheros, which was Spanish sausage and tomatoes in a roasted red pepper sauce, with lettuce and some other green sprinkled on top. The green leafy veggies were put on top after the pizza was cooked, so it was kind of like getting a salad with the pizza. The pizza was just okay - the crust was thin, but not amazing. There wasn't a lot of sausage and the sauce was just okay also. The service was great though! The girls were attentive. And there was a cool contraption on the table where you pressed the button and the server would come to your table. I couldn't figure out how it worked because there were no wires. But when I pressed it, our table number would appear on the little screen next to the server's counter. We were able to pay with credit card and they boxed up our leftovers for us. The pizza easily feeds two people. There are six decent sized slices. The place is cute and the service is excellent. If I came back, I would want to try the gnocchi or the risotto! read more
