My girlfriend and I went here because we couldn't find any other restaurant open in Valparaiso on a Wednesday night before 8pm during winter. Glad we went! This place didn't look very appealing from the outside, but once you walk in you are seriously surprised at how nice and modern it looks. The seating was very comfortable too. The service was attentive, and the food came out quickly and hot. We ordered a caesar salad to start, which is common, but the chicken was amazingly well cooked (just a tad crispy and juicy on the inside). I ordered a specialty of the house, beef medallions with sauce and potatoes au gratin. The menu is also in English and Spanish, in case you're skittish about ordering. My girlfriend ordered a risotto con lomo salteado (sautéed beef risotto) that was rich and delicious and just different enough from a regular risotto that it was interesting. We also ordered the AMAZING lúcuma ice cream cake. I would curse with joy if the yelp filter didn't delete my review, but it was just so goshdarn good, it was to die for. Lúcuma is a slightly maple-syrup tasting fruit, but you should just try it yourself since it's so hard to describe the delicately sweet flavor. We also really enjoyed the "bajativo" a little shot of manzanilla liquor, which came as a compliment of the house. read more
