To start this review let me say that I am not a mechanic by trade. I am, however, mechanically inclined and have fixed up and owned many vintage mopeds over the years. In late August of 2025 I Acquired a 1979 Suzuki FZ50 for purposes of fixing up as a gift for my younger sister In-law. I did my usual diagnosis procedure and traced a major problem that I didn't want to deal with being low compression (My tester showed 90PSI). So, in my mind I wanted to find somewhere I could likely have a top end installed on this thing. The spark was good enough to run; the carb was clean enough to run this FZ50 wouldn't even run on carb cleaner. I heard about Allatoona Cycle & ATV from a family member that lives on that side of town so I figured I would try this repair shop (really a house) since the initial phone call made me believe to truly diagnose the problem would only cost $100 and that I would probably have it back by the end of October in time for her birthday. After dropping off this to the shop on September 19th, 2025, I would check in every two weeks because I would not hear any updates about this scooter's diagnosis. I would get the same excuse that they haven't had time to work on it. On November 15th, 2025, I got a call from this shop claiming that there was an issue with the kick starter to there the motor wasn't turning over (you must hold the brake to allow the kick starter to work properly by design). I got another call a few min later saying that it wasn't the right key (I gave two keys one said Suzuki and the second one was labeled Kawasaki and was likely a spare made at the dealership). I was also told he misplaced the box of spare parts. At this point I was frustrated because when I came in it was obvious that little to no work was being done to my bike. In late November throughout the first two weeks of December I was told that the carburetor was being cleaned, that the wiring was a mess, and that the fly wheel nut was stripped. I was concerned that the mechanic was not taking my concerns about compression seriously when he continued to say that the cylinder was reading 130PSI, but he mentioned that compression felt weak when I dropped it off. The mechanic fixed the issues mentioned even though the engine should have run on starting fluid before these repairs were completed. Not once did this business call to say it would cost extra to fix these issues. On December 15th, 2025, I got a call from the mechanic saying that this FZ50 would need a new top end even though it has according to him 130PSI. He said he would have to look with suppliers to find a top end kit for this motor. He said that he would estimate it would cost $280- low 300 to get this bike back on the road. After calling this shop two more times in 2025 to try to get an answer about the cost of everything the mechanic called on January 5th, 2026, and stated that he found the need parts, but it was going to cost $510 to get this moped back on the road. At this point I had enough and decided to come pick up the FZ50 on January 12th, 2026. Upon arrival the mechanic yells at me about not calling ahead to pick up my property. With my schedule being strict I said I would return on January 14th, 2026, to collect my FZ50. Upon returning the mechanic charged me $440 dollars on top of my prepaid $100 to complete the work that was not requested & to not complete the desired result which was to make the FZ50 run. The mechanic also said that the $510 would have been in addition to the $440 I was charged to me. When asked for a receipt I was told he was out of printer ink and could not provide me with this. I had to take a photo of my receipt. They charged me $16.75 for a quart of two stroke oil, a tire disposal fee (With no tire disposal), amongst services I didn't agree to be charged for. When I walked him through the reasoning for my dissatisfaction He was unwilling to resolve the issue with any compensation. I wish to warn anyone who needs any work like this to take your business and money elsewhere! I will never be back & lets hope I can salvage this FZ50 after sitting in this place for four months. read more

If I could give him a zero I would. Absolute crook. My 18-year-old son brought his motorcycle there that he got from his uncle. Bike hadn't been started in over three years. We asked George to rebuild the carburetor and make sure everything else was good to go. He quoted me $250 to completely rebuild carburetor. In the end he charged me $350 to rebuild carb and multiple other things that came to over $1200. Under three weeks later the carb was leaking everywhere so we took it to another shop. The mechanic said there was no way he rebuilt the carb. Varnish build up in carb, diaphragm had a tear in it. So he tells me he didn't replace diaphragm because it "looked fine". Well, I am out over $500 to get the other shop to fix his work. This is on a 1995 motorcycle so at this point I have paid more than the bike is said to be worth. He said I should have brought it back to him to fix and wouldn't have costed me $500 from the other guy. Why would I bring my bike back to him when he did a bad job the first time!?!?! Took 2 4 wheelers to get fixed here, a Can Am 2011 And a 125cc Took them 2 months never called me to give me an update and until I called every week. They could not get it fixed and still charging over $600 and said there's not much they can do for me. Very disrespectful would not recommend at all! Wasted 2 months on my 4 wheeler and did nothing but fix the wheel bearing on it 2MONTHS!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE read more

Please listen to the other reviewers. There is a reason they continue to get 1 star. I took my son's ATV there because it was not achieving full throttle under load. When I dropped it off, I told them all of the issues that I knew couldn't be the problem. I'm pretty handy with a wrench and put in a new top end, checked compression, cleaned the reeds, cleaned and adjusted the carb but something was still not right. When I dropped off the bike I told them specifically that I couldn't ID what was wrong but I knew what wasn't the problem. I then told them I didn't want them to do ANY work! I simply wanted to have them diagnose the issue. The guy confirmed it was $90 to diagnose the issue but if I wanted work to be done, the 90 would be applied towards the repair. There is a big sign that states the exact same thing. 2 days later I get a voicemail stating that he had an update and to call the shop. I call him back and he tells me he thinks he knows what the problem is... "Sir I think we need to adjust your valves, timings off".... I asked, "Your talking about my sons 90cc atv with the camo fairings?". He replies "Yes sir, this is Ryan. right?"...."I say, yeah its Ryan. But its a 2-stroke and doesnt have valves"... He replied "oh, i thought it was a 4 stroke".... People, that was an actual conversation I had with these guys. I should have picked it up right then and told them to piss off. Unfortunately, I'm like 45 min from the shop, and laziness got the best of me. I figured maybe it was a dumb mistake. Another day goes by and he says it's ready to be picked up. I show up and a guy who was not there when I dropped it off greats me. The ATV is waiting out front. He begins to explain that he thinks the problem is that the exhaust system is plugged. He then tells me that it would be several hours of labor to take the pipe off and to clean it. I said no thanks, I appreciate the diagnosis but Ill do it myself. I walk inside and the guy who I originally dropped the bike off to is behind the counter. He tells me my total is $190... I said, "Woah, the diagnosis was only supposed to be $90"." he replies. "yeah but it took us 2 hours so we charged you for an hour labor in addition to the diagnosis fee". I said "that doesnt make any sense, its not my fault you didnt even realize it was a 2 stroke. You wouldn't charge me less than $90 if you diagnosed it in 10 seconds would you", he replied, "no, but we had to check the compression, the carb, the reeds, all that stuff takes time". I said, "What, I told you exactly what I did when I dropped it off and not to check that". The guy wouldn't budge, then he has the audacity to tell me he doesn't take credit cards and that he forgot to tell me on the phone. budge. This place is total garbage. Stay away! The irony is that they were right on the diagnosis, when I got home I grinded the end cap of the muffler off, cleaned the pipe, and welded it back. Took maybe... 30 mins total. Runs perfect. This place is a scam and would clearly overchange anyone. If you arent mechanically included they may really screw you. If they were honest about their policies and didn't try to take advantage of people they would be a lot better off. read more

Do not take your motorcycle or anything to this place. No communication what's so ever. Took 9 weeks to fix my motorcycle and now they are trying to charge me over a thousand bucks. Also they only take cash so there is definitely something shady about this business. I wish I would of never left my motorcycle here. read more

Never bring your atv or anything over here they will rip you off like no tomorrow! Dude said it'd be $250 for everything so I gave him $100 up front. I had to wait THREE WEEKS before they were actually finished with it. They left it out in the rain and didn't lock it up what's so ever. But I finally went to pick it up and now he's sayin I owe $301.63 so sick of dealing with this Glade road bs . Don't go to a backyard garage take it to a legit servicing atv or utv repair shop. But don't bring it to these con artists!!! read more

Do not waste your time!! My motorcycle has been at their shop for a month and they are returning my motorcycle in WORSE condition than when it went in. They told me it needed all kinds of different parts which they kept charging me racking up a bill of almost $500 and still cant get it to run, These guys are a bunch of crooks that have no idea what they are doing. For those of you that actually take really good care of your bikes, BE CAREFUL, I always kept mine in the garage and come to find out they keep it outside in the back yard no matter what kind of weather, they returned mine all dirty, Dont waste your time or money....
