When we left, my daughter got to choose a little "prize" from their drawer and it was an adorable assortment of rubber duckies of all styles - she left with the cutest little giraffe one and she is in love with it.

The process of install and adjustments has been smooth. Wait times for adjustments minimal. The pricing seems around standard for their office to do your child's braces. They have a monthly payment plan at no interest. They take most insurance plans. I would encourage a read of both my in depth original review and updated version if considering braces. If your child breaks up dental care and braces with two practices be prepared for a lot more juggle. I like that everything is in house. I can't recommend them enough.

The waiting room has a little movie area, iPads on the wal and other toys for the kids. Once you go back for your exam, you realize there are TVs on the ceiling above the chairs. For our youngest who is 18 months old, we go into a separate room and he sits on my lap during his exam (I did this for both of my older kids when they were younger as well) The one and only downside I have to this location is the parking is crazy, the lot is so small and always packed. You should make sure you arrive earlier than you normally would for an appointment to ensure you are not late.

I came across beach kids and explained that my children have not had the best experiences with dentists outside of our last dentist. There has been multiple occasions where they went in for a check up or a filling and felt like the dentists were being rude or judgmental or not understanding to our children's situations. There was one occasion where my son was trying to get some cavities filled, but kept gagging on their mouth insert that they were trying to use. Instead of trying to comfort him or allow him to calm down they continued to try that method to the point that he was sobbing and uncomfortable. Because of that, they were unable to fill his cavities and ever since then have kept asking us to get him sedated, which we are not comfortable with. I would also like to add that the dental hygienist there have been very pleasant to deal with but my experience with the dentists have been so poor that I can no longer bring my children to this practice. My famaly's experience is our own and other people might have different experiences, but I hope that this review can help families make a better decision at which practice to go to.

We were a little early for our appointment but were taken to the back right away. they have TV, magazines and a few toys in the lobby if you do have to wait. Since he's only 3 he is a bit apprehensive to lay back in the chair and have anything done in his mouth but he was made to feel very comfortable. Once she was done and we were waiting for the dentist they have a large variety of books the kids can engage in. He loves their animal book which lists hundreds of animals from around the world. Once Dr Levin came he gave him a very quick examination and gave him a clean bill of health. One thing that stood out to me that is why I will remain a patient here is Dr Levin's response to my son complaining of tooth pain. When he examined his mouth he said he didn't see anything but If my son kept complaining to bring him back at no charge. That shows that he really cares about his patients and its not all about the money.

This is why I switched offices initially, who the hell is going to wait 8 months to be seen if they have something come up between the 6 month appointments? That means you're waiting well over a year even for a cleaning. Nope. It's happened multiple times to me here and it is the exact reason I switched offices to begin with. These appointments are booked incredibly far in advance and people have lives - so when you need to reschedule I can understand a few weeks or a month but my Feb 02 appointment being rescheduled for August at the soonest?! Unacceptable. Additionally, the receptionists are rude when you call and try to ask any questions and are condescending. I've been nice when I've called and I'm met with some sort of indifference and talking down to for asking simple questions or trying to explain a situation. I'm again switching offices. I'm out. I used to love coming to the dentist (we all have our quirks, people!), until I had a bad experience at our prior dentist. I decided to give Smile By Design a go, and I love it (although I can't say I LOVE getting dental work done- I'm now a normal person that dreads the dentist). I've had filling removal & re-fills done, and I expressed my fear & anxiety to Dr. Santos, and she was so calm and patient with me during the entire procedure. That first experience I had with her made me feel totally comfortable and I trust her completely with my teeth. I think they do offer a lot of options, and some people are put off by that, but I'm gonna tell you- I bought that expensive Bluetooth toothbrush they offered me, and while the Bluetooth part is whatever (IMHO), my teeth have never felt better and my hygienist notices a difference in my teeth (which I totally believe!). My teeth feel like I just got a cleaning every single time I brush with it (which is nightly). Dr. Santos also suggested I get a soft night guard, and while my insurance doesn't cover that, I saved my pennies and got fitted for it. In summary, I do feel as though this dentistry has my teeth in their best interest, and I would recommend anyone going here! If you've had bad experiences at the dentist, be honest with them about it and I think they'll baby you like they baby me. We need it!
