The first "print" is often heavily price-inflated, while the second piece is frequently not by Thomas Kinkade at all--essentially a knockoff. Always verify: * The signature should be signed, not stamped with Edition numbering. Do not be misled by the small nameplates on the frames--they can be deceiving. Another important detail: Thomas Kinkade did not place glass over his artwork. If it's behind glass, question it. My advice? Keep walking when you pass the factory outlet door.
