I give this shop 5 Stars.... Why? For one this shop is…read moreprofoundly THE place to have transmission service done on your car or truck. All other shops are just imitating A1. These pros won't lie to you and they won't upsale you or sale you anything you don't need. This is The Real Honest shop that dreams are made of. No joke. I took my 2005 Chevy Impala in for what I thought was a transmission feller. But alas I was wrong. I called and Betty answered. She was Amazingly kind and easy to talk to which is a big giant plus for me. Rudeness does not reside here. She ensured me that they could find the problem and fix the issue. So I left my car in the hands of Mike. Also a very nice gentleman who jump on my car quick fast and in a hurry. Now a course I left it over night in there safe facility and in the morning they were on it. All I can say is it's fixed. I've known many places that dirty your car up with grease hand prints and such but not these pros. I highly recommend to everyone that has a Tranny problem to take your vehicles to this shop. Fast friendly and a job that will be done Right.... They don't call them A1 for nothing.

I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and making sure the work you are paying for is actually completed before trusting this shop with your vehicle. In full disclosure I and my entire family has been using Munoz for car repairs for more than around…read morea decade now. We originally tried him when the mechanic shop around the corner came under new management and seriously over charged me for work on a 95 mustang, and then failed to do the job right. Initially I locked horns with Mr. Munoz since I fully believed my car needed a certain item fixed, while he disagreed. I went with his advice and have been waiting for nearly 10 years at this point to prove him wrong, but he has consistently performed flawless diagnostics and repair on the numerous vehicles that I and my 2 sisters, in-laws, and even the coworkers I have recommended, own. On top of that his prices are great as well. For example, he generally comes in at 1/2 to 1/4 of the price of my extremely overpriced BMW mechanic, and the similarly extremely overpriced Buick mechanic for my wife's car. At this point, I only have warranty work done on my BMW at the dealership (though I did ask Mr. Munoz if he would replace a high pressure fuel pump for me, but he kindly let me know that BMW warrantied the part to 100k miles and told me to have them do it.) I cant recommend him highly enough.

I was quoted 2400 for a NEW CVT transmission for a 2012 Nissan Versa. A transmission that I was told could never be repaired. It had to be completely replaced. I took my car into the shop on Monday afternoon August 21st. Al called me Wednesday afternoon to come pick the car up. The car drove fine until Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon the car started shaking as it did before it went in, the code light was also on. I took the car in on Monday to be tested. Al, ran a diagnostic and determined the car needed a new part. I dropped the car off Monday afternoon on the assumption that I would have the car back Tuesday. The part didn't come Tuesday. Wednesday the part was placed, but it still didn't fix the problem. I was given this' same run around for the next 3 days. Monday September 4th was labor day, so I knew it was going to be delayed. Understandable. Tuesday the 5th I went into the shop myself at lunch time to surprise Al and give him a chance to explain. Walking on on Al, he stammered. Ahhh ahhh telling me that he was waiting on someone to come "flash" the transmission. I stopped by the shop Wednesday morning on my way to work waiting for Al to come in. After doing my own research, Al never called Elite Electronics that was supposed to come out. Elite also informed me that if Al had in fact put a whole new transmission it wouldn't need to be flashed. It was then Al admitted that he did not put in a new transmission. I questioned other things he had told me. He told me they have a part house yet - he has to order parts and it took a full day to come in. It took a day and a half to put in a brand new transmission but now it has been another week and half and the small repairs can't be made. When confronted on this, Al became angry. Slammed things on the counter and told me he wasn't a liar. Even though he had already admitted to being caught in at least one lie. I told Al that if he couldn't get my car fixed by Wednesday ( September 5th) afternoon, he should just get a check to refund my money and give me my car back. Al called me Wednesday afternoon to let me know that " my car ran fine but had some loose wires ( i've never had that problem before letting him touch my car.) and has broken down by the parts shop (wherever that is) and has to be towed back to the shop. I could pick the car up with a check Thursday morning. Thursday (September 6th) afternoon I FINALLY got a call after calling the shop approximately 20 times with no answer that my car was running and ready to be picked up. Check was going to be made available. I pick up the car. Al told me the car is "basically" fixed. I essentially got a new transmission for free. I started the car, the air condition would not turn on at all. It would not blow any kind of air. The blinker wouldn't work. My hazard lights wouldn't work. Nothing. I knew something was wrong but I was ready to get my car out of his business. I already had a new shop lined up ready to take my car that afternoon a few miles down the road. I drove my car approximately 5 miles before it just died in the middle of the road. Dead. Nothing. I had it towed to a shop when they have informed me that the transmission has not been touched. My battery is now also being supported by a 2x4 has zero charge and the battery cables are trash. Again, not an issue that I ever had before. The check has been deposited in the bank. I haven't heard of the check is hot or not. Al is not the owner he is a manager, and a sweet talker. He is going to say all the nice things so he can cheat lie and steal. I do not know who the own is, but I would love to talk to him about his business and the way his employees run it. Run far far far away from this place. Taking it to him you might as well just leave it in the middle of 635. This place is a scam.

All crap! The front windshield was replaced and was not sealed correctly $100 and the pump had a short that was easily fixed and the back up camera also was electrical. Sensors needed to be replaced. John greeted me with a smile and was ready to assist. I described my problem and left the truck with him for an inspection. Several other vehicles were ahead of me for inspections and estimates. John called a few hours later and said my truck was ready for pick-up. He had a smile in his voice when he said the problem was caused by "driver error." When I arrived, he demonstrated how the transmission selection switch had somehow been moved to four-wheel drive. I was driving at higher speeds in four-wheel drive. That also explained why my turning radius was diminished. John treated me with respect, said there was no charge, and invited me to come back if I ever need additional service.
