We highly recommend Bear Creek Fence (aka Utah Fencing Co.). Ken is sales and helped us evaluate…read moreour many options. A visit to the wholesaler to review the products closed the deal. The next day, our 36 year old wood fence fell over. The installation crew was efficient and professional. One group brought materials and removed the old fence. Another crew hand dug the post holes for 230 feet of fence, then the first crew installed our Avimore Elite Shadow fence in Chocolate Brown (https://alliancefencesupply.com/pages/avimore-shadow). The owner Eric checked in personally every day and we had good communication on the progress. The entire process took only four or five days.

As with any project, there are bound to be a few bumps along the way. But Eric and his partner, Ken stayed in constant contact and made sure that I was aware of any problems that occurred. They gave me ample notice of issues and allowed me to correct them or mitigate the problem with no pressure. The workers were on time, professional, and did fantastic work. They took time and effort to make sure that the Fenceline and posts were straight, and they followed the terrain perfectly. If you're looking for a fence repair or replacement and want it done quickly at a reasonable price, while getting quality product and workmanship, Bear Creek Fence is the way to go.

Dylan is a very nice guy, as everyone says. He goes out of his way to be helpful, but once his…read morecrew has done their shoddy work he is unavailable. In the last eight years they have done a pretty big fencing job, some steel fence and some cedar, for us. Many of the steel posts have big blobs of cement above ground around them, which is unsightly and unprofessional and bugs me every time I see it. Parts of the cedar fence are now falling down, after less than eight years. I have texted Dylan pictures of this but no reply. If you hire these guys, good luck. You'll need it, because you won't, from my experience, get any follow up if there are problems.

Unfortunately, SLC Deck and Fence is not a company I would ever recommend…read more Dylan said he would procure a permit for an overheight fence, and proclaimed that he had done 'many' in the SLC area. Despite repeated attempts to confirm he had gotten a permit, he still did not have one on the day that he planned to start the fence. He never acquired a permit, which resulted in a nearly year long battle with the city that finally resolved (today) through a painful and expensive workaround. The city said he had only asked for one other permit for an overheight fence in the past--proving that he lied to us about this. On top of that, his workers damaged the cable for my internet requiring Comcast to make a trip out, and didn't close the neighbors fence door so their dog got out. 2 of the boards fell off the fence in the first week it was up, and he didn't stain both sides of the fence! I'd hire a lawyer for all the pain in the ass this was, but by the time I'd be done, I'd probably not make a penny back of the $6000 I paid him to do a terrible job. I have a strong, strong aversion to this dude and his business. He seems nice, but don't give him a penny of your money.
