We have had our main bank account at All US Credit Union since 2000. In 2003, we moved to Fresno but kept this account, and I will probably never close it. Since it changed from Monterey County Employees Credit Union, they've opened a few more locations, but other than that, not much has changed in terms of great service and "smallness". This is not a big bank, you aren't going to get all the conveniences of 24-hour bank. What you will get is staff that knows and remembers you and great rates. Over the past 21 years, we have taken out various car loans and personal loans and have always received the best interest rates. The loan process has always been smooth even though we are out of town. I've never needed to go into the bank all these years; I've always taken care of things online or over the phone with staff who are always great. Most staff have stayed for years, it's not often I get someone on the phone I don't know. I'm surprised at some of the poor reviews - I've never experienced any of those things. But, again, if you're expecting impersonal big bank services, you should go there instead. read more

I have been a member with this credit union since it was exclusively for Monterey county employees. I have always been treated fairly by the staff here and have had great experiences with the business transactions...especially when Tiffany and Stephanie were there. -This is not the case anymore! I live 20 miles away from the branch and I have asked the employees AND the answering service for a closer cash deposit location (numerous times); their response...there is not one. So, after I wrote a check, I drove to town to deposit some cash only to find that THE ATM MACHINE IS OUT OF ORDER...my check was returned and they would not remove a $30 dollar fee. I don't know who is making the decisions there but it seems to me that they do not understand how to keep a customer happy. I will be destroying all personal checks I have and I will not be utilizing any of their offers. DO NOT BANK HERE. Thank god I found this out before I applied for a refinancing of my home! In short, I will be settling my accounts there. Additionally, as I mentioned before, I was told numerous times that there was no other location to make deposits...upon receiving this returned fee I asked to be reversed, I was informed that there actually is a place to make cash deposits! Are you kidding me!! Are you guys running a scam or what!? So the fee will not be reversed. Also, the ATM is still not working! Take it from me, if you own property, have time consuming responsibilities, travel internationally, or just plain don't have time to waste...FIND A BIGGER BANK THAT HAS A LARGER NETWORK...at the very least, you'll save valuable time while they find irritating ways to take your pennies. I am so happy I finally closed my account and why. 1. They are closed on weekend. Other banks open on Saturday. 2. No customer service after hours including Saturday. 3. Once u did 6 transfer online your account is locked and u can not access money both online and atm. Other banks you can get money even after 6 transfer u just need yo pay the fee. 4. Limited location to access money when needed for emergency. 5. The worst for me is not able to access money or withdraw money because they locked it after 6 times transfer. 6. I Do Not Recommend this Bank at all. read more

I work for a local non-profit health plan and we have done business with this All Us Credit Union numerous times. I can honestly say that management here are always the quickest to respond to our needs. They also have a great meeting room that we use on a monthly basis. It is always clean, easy accessible, and all AV functionality is in working order. The price to rent the room (for a non-profit) is very reasonable. We will continue to do business here. read more

The bank tellers here are always super nice, they always seem enthusiastic and it's the probably the best part of my day going to the bank!

After 16 years banking here, I can't believe I'm considering closing my accounts with this credit union. I am all for COVID precautions but when they are primarily for employees and not balanced with being accessible and open to provide your customers the services they bank with you for then time for customers to take their business somewhere else. Hard decisions I'm considering but I need my bank to be available yo me, always communicate clearly in person or online and to serve the functions i need out of my bank. read more

Don't bank here... I liked it better when it was the Monterey County Employees Credit Union... there is NO HELP (customer service) on the weekends, their cards don't work with Vemo or Apple Pay ... and all the new clerks don't really know what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere. read more

We have been customers of the Credit Union since 2001 and we love it. Great loan rates and customer service is top notch. The ladies there in the office, Cheryl, Stephanie, Robin, Dana, and everyone who I forgot and also who has left are wonderful and provide great service whether over the phone or in person. My only complaint would be that they used to put up some decorations during holiday seasons, Halloween, Xmas, etc and that stopped. The explanation was that the management no longer allowed it. I enjoyed coming in during those times and seeing the decor and have missed it since it ended. The reason being is I joined the CU b cause it wasn't a big bank. But even Big Banks decorate a little during those times. So please consider bringing it back. read more

Worst banking experience ever! I went to this credit union 23 months ago looking for something different than the big national banks. I found it. From beginning to end it went beyond disappointment. Condescending and patronizing attitude form everyone I had the opportunity to interact with from a teller to their CEO. It was unbelievable. I learned quickly that I didn't want to do business with them (just a few days) but was told if I closed my account they would keep the money I had just deposited. Then they started charging me inactivity fees, drained the account, and closed it for me. Crooks and thieves all. If you like being talked to as if you are ignorant than this is the place for you. Oh, but be careful and read everything or they will steal from you. They stole money from me. read more

I am been banking with this bank for many years. So happy with it. i understand that we being going to hard times with this virus but now Every time I got to do a transaction I feel like a nasty filthy dirty person becomes the way they are taking percussions tthey put you on the ATM room ok i get it but what about if is the customer prior to me was sick? everything will stay on the little room because no ventilation. makes me feel like they just protecting their selves. I do have a major bank for my business and The way they handle the situation make you feel like a normal person. Don't get me wrong I love the customer service I love the girls there they're really nice and kind but it's just the way I feel right now it's not right they need more airflow or they can put people outside and take care of you from that room that way you're not in closure in that small area... read more

I have always had great customer service with this credit union. There are hardly ever any long lines and the tellers are extremely helpful! I have experienced wonderful & personal customer service over the eight years I have been a memeber. All of the tellers and staff are helpful & knowledgable. Though living in Monterey, I was disappointed that the Monterey branch was closed. All US Credit Union is Great! The staff really makes you feel like you matter and not that you are just "another account". I came to the Credit Union trying to save my credit. The staff listened and discussed with me credit options. I was able to apply for a consolidation loan and found out in a couple of days that I was approved. The customer service is great. Very helpful and friendly. I've had my account for many years and now some of my children have opened accounts also. On the rare occasion that an issue has occurred (no fault of the credit union) they have been super quick to fix it. Only down is not open Saturday's. read more

What makes any business special ... their staff. That said I have been banking with friends for about twenty years. I sincerely feel it ... friends that when I walk through the door acknowledge me by name, friends that care about my family, friends that have been there to fulfill my financial needs when others would not.
