The next day I came after work, and without saying a thing, he brought my mower to me, started it up (it had gas that had gone bad over the winter), told me what to do so I wouldn't have to see him again, and helped me load it up in my car. He's been doing this for 46 (or 47?) summers, and really knows his stuff.

The…read moreowner seemed to be knowledgeable initially, but upon picking up my repair, didn't seem to actually put any effort effort diagnosing my issue. He was more interested in receiving a service fee for doing essentially nothing. I'm almost positive that they misdiagnosed not one but both of my lawn mowers one of which I let them keep based on the information that they told me. When they told me the second lawnmower couldn't be repaired. I pushed back and asked them if I take it to another shop and they're willing enable to get it fixed then would my $50 be refunded being that you didn't fix my problem. The owner didn't responded well another shop might be able to get it up and running, but I still don't think it's gonna cut.. Like I said, I don't typically leave bad reviews about places like this, but something needs to be said. I really think you would be better off spending your money somewhere else where they value you and actually take the time to figure out what the issue is and it's less focused on keeping your money for a service fee. I was torn between taking my lawn equipment to this place and a few other places in North County. The other places were booked up and I now see why they were booked up. My advice, wait on the other lawnmower repair places that are booked up versus taking your equipment to these people. I work in Construction and very much have respect for people who work in a service industry but these people just aren't it.

I have a Sthil SH55 blower that needed repair. I got on the Sthil website and found this guy to…read moreservice my blower. He's local so I figured I would give him a try since I try to shop local. His hours weren't posted on the web so I figured I would drive over there on a Saturday afternoon. I arrived at about 1:30 to see the sign says they close at noon. As I'm pulling out he comes out and asks if he can help me. I tell him my story and the first thing he asks is if I purchased the blower from him. I said no since I recently moved into the area. He told me he only services what he has sold. What!!!??? He said he can't keep up with demand. Now, I don't know about you, but if I were in business I would try to gain new customers by servicing thier needs. On a positive note, he did go inside and look to see if he had the part in stock. He gave me the part number and told me a few places to call. This is the only reason I gave him two stars. He was rude and not helpful. I told him I would be buying a new mower this spring and it still didn't change his mind. I don't know if I'll back since I'm not in his "inner circle" of customers.
