I always enjoy making a pit stop at Bamburi Boat bar to get a break from the heat and the little human mammals at Safari Park.

The worst and major problem: the sound is just execrable. There has been improvement made over the past 4 years however it's still very bad. The venue's acoustic is obviously not designed for music... Like many other music venue, Harrah's gouges prices on drinks. The seating is not comfortable, and I struggled a couple of times to reach my seats within our row (the seating is more like a convention center setup). I do not recommend this venue unless the artist is "one of a kind" that you really want to see, locally.

That said, I absolutely love this venue because of its small and intimate atmosphere. It's located at Harrah's Resort SoCal, which makes it incredibly convenient to catch a concert and stay overnight or even make a weekend of it. The resort is great! The venue itself is small, with approximately 2,200 seats. It's my preferred spot for concerts because you're so close to the artist, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Tickets are available in person (usually cheaper) or online, though online sales come with the usual frustrating fees. One of the standout perks is the parking. Both complimentary self-parking and valet options are available, and best of all, self-parking is still free, which is rare these days. If you're not staying at the resort, take your time exiting the venue if you parked in the self-park garage, the elevators are quite slow, and it may take a little longer than usual to get out. The layout feels a bit like a large ballroom or conference room, with rows of chairs that are all connected. Chandeliers included! If comfort matters to you, do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for an aisle (preferred) seat or aim for the front row of a section, your legs and your date will thank you. The Events Center doesn't sell food, but it definitely sells drinks, so plan accordingly. Fortunately, there are dining options open all night, so you can grab a bite after the show. If you're drinking in the casino before the show and want to bring your drink with you, they'll provide a clear plastic cup for you to pour it into before entering the actual venue. Overall, it's a casino venue, but it's a great one, and you might be surprised by the big-name artists who perform here. That's one of the reasons I keep returning.

The most Rockwood Ranch was purchased and added into the property in 2006, and the Rockwood farmhouse which was built in the 1890's is now the Rancho Guejito Vineyard tasting room! Check out their calendar for event details, but they do have a lot of events for kids as well as some street faire type events. I ama not certain if they always have live music, but the times that we have been here, they have had great live music playing. They have a great selection of wines (the sweet ones for me and the not sweet ones for my wife) as well as delightful Sangria's and wind slushies. The food was actually really good here too! They have Cheeseburgers, Bratwurst, Hotdog, veggie burgers, nachos, Bavarian pretzels, charcuterie box, churros. They also had sliders when we were there, and we opted to share sliders, charcuterie box and a Bavarian pretzel. The pretzel was massive and delicious, 100% would order again. The sliders were cooked perfectly and are made from beef raised on the property where they maintain a herd of over 2000 cows! You can also purchase a Box of their 100% grass fed on open pastures beef to take home for your freezer and cook at your leisure. This is an amazing place, always a lot of fun!

We were part of a large group staying at the hotel as we were all attending a wedding nearby. The bar's central location made for a convenient meeting spot. The bar is large with a lot of bar top seating and even more 4-tops behind. The live music was great and pumped up the energy and vibe of the entire place. As mentioned, service was a bit indifferent and typically pretty slow. Not a lot of bartender/patron interaction, they were really busy at night, so understandable. Yet even during morning hours when it was slow the bartenders weren't especially personable.

She always has a smile on her face and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you sit down. Her green teas and margaritas are SO good! I originally went in just for a drink with Sammi and ended up leaving with a great conversation, lots of laughs, and an even better time. If you're at The Cowshed, definitely ask for Sammi!
