We adopted a little angel from them through Petco and the woman running the show came reeking of alcohol and clearly mistreats these animals. We were told zero health issues but our baby had severe ringworm and a respiratory infection. We were thrilled to get her out of this pathetic woman's hands but putting money in her pocket was painful. Mary is very sweet and seems to really care about the cats that she adopts out. We just adopted the sweetest boy from here. All their kitty's are up to date on shots deworming and also microchipped which was awesome. I would definitely recommend getting a cat from this rescue. read more

Hope you'll be more diligent than I was when adopting an animal! This shelter partners with Petco and willingly puts animals up for adoption that have health risks and will not inform you before you adopt. My partner and I adopted a beautiful black and white cat from this organization and unfortunately the cat had ringworm, tritrichomonas, and Giardia. Ringworm and Giardia are curable but tritrichomonas is not (at the moment) and it infected our household. Please adopt here with caution. Cat I adopted was very sick. I don't think this rescue medically treats any of the cats it pulls from the shelter. Which is a problem when they are putting the cats together in cages at the Petco and not isolating or providing treatment. read more

They had a bonded pair I was interested in. Older cats. I first got a price of $150 each, a little high but not bad. The second conversation the person said $200 per cat. Now that is insane. Homeward Bound charges $150 per kitten and $250 for 2. You almost always get a discount on the second cat. $400 for two older cats is insane. So now Sammy & Charlotte get to stay in a cage in a strange place rather than going to a loving home filled with adoration and attention. Never mind their reviews are horrible. read more

Sadly, I have to agree with the reviews telling the truth about this awful organization . I volunteered for them and gave my heart and soul to the cats. But from day one there was such toxic insecurity coming from the so called volunteer coordinator and the manager that it made everything difficult to say the least. The manager has almost manic mood swings that had to have been felt by all people and cats that have ever come in contact with her . The volunteer coordinator complained about not getting paid by this volunteer only organization when she should have spent her limited energy getting a paying job like everyone else. They both completely disrespected the cats (medical issues ignored, dirty bedding, giving them names like Dummy and Barf,etc) and along with the Green Valley Petco manager (see Petco review) implemented ridiculous rules that had nothing to do with animal safety and everything to do with control. They themselves did not follow their own rules. Pay close attention to the link provided in the previous review. Goes so far beyond disrespect and she cowardly got out of that tragedy with a plea deal. They have proven they only selfishly care about their own needs. Add to this constant fighting between the managers. It was unreal. We got our sweet little kitty from All the Same Wild and Tame. We love her to pieces and grateful for the work that this sanctuary does rescuing feral cat. I do have a big complaint and it's a big one. We asked about her ear, her health, we were told she wouldn't be cleared for adoption by the vet unless she was completely healthy. She cost $225, which is definitely on the higher end. I also stop by the adoption section when inside petco because we've been looking for an addition to our family. We have dogs and a cat already at home. She was just too sweet. Even though I could tell she was sick, I wanted her. I reached out again to them to tell them her breathing was not normal. I called my vet and was able to get her in the next day. Thankfully, I completely isolated her and blocked access to the door just in case. After an extra $700 at the vet, poor baby has to be isolated for 2 weeks because she had an upper respiratory infection. Then a couple days later we got her results in from other testing and found she also has ring worm. Now she has to stay isolated for an additional 4 weeks. I reached out to them hoping they would reach out to the other adoption parents. She was in the same enclosure/kennel/box with 3 other kittens. I asked if the 4 of them were found together. They were not, so I really hope they did their due diligence and reach out to the people that have adopted these kittens to make sure they treat for ring worm and do not infect their entire family. I don't regret my choice because I still helped get a kitten off the street. I really hope moving forward this sanctuary puts the health of their cats above everything else. They are charging enough that I believe they should have a better vet. Not someone by her words "sucks and doesn't keep good documents of treatment" if you adopted a kitten from petco on Sahara in summerlin within the last 3 weeks, I would advise taking your cat to the vet read more

DO NOT adopt from this foundation or you'll end up with a sick animal. On Saturday, November 4, 2023 my daughter adopted a kitten from our local Petco. When we got home the kitten was suffering from severe diarrhea, was covered in scabs and was underweight. On Monday, November 6 I took him to Vetco and they did blood work and a fecal sample. They put him on an antibiotic for suspected worms. The next day the vet called me and said the kitten had Giardia and needed an additional medication as well as having to put our other household cat on it to be safe. I was able to obtain the name of the adoption foundation through Petco. I called Mary K with All The Same Wild and Tame that evening and told her about the kitten. She was very shocked and apologetic about the condition of the kitten. She asked me to email her the vet bill and receipts for what we had paid out of pocket and said she would speak to the foundation higher ups on if she could reimburse us for the adoption fee and medical/medication bills. I sent her an email with the attachments, and she called the next day to say she got approval to reimburse us and mailed us a check that morning. We received the check Friday, November 10 and it was only for the adoption fee of $225. I called her and got her vm so I left her a message asking why the check was only for the adoption fee and not the other bills as she stated it would be for. She called me back and said she was sorry I misunderstood her and that they're a foundation and don't cover medical bills. She said they could only refund the adoption fee. I told her that's not what she said Tuesday night and she kept saying I misunderstood her. She said they refunded the adoption fee to compensate for what we have gone through. Come to find out, she's the owner of the foundation, there are no higher ups! She lied to me and she's consciously adopting sick animals. I adopted two cats from these people last Sunday at a Petco adoption event. I was told I was adopting siblings, that were 15 weeks old. The girl kitty had already been microchipped and both all current on vaccines. I take them to the vet today, and behold they are not siblings. They are 6 months and 7 months. The one had a mark on his ear, and the owner of wild and tame told me it was just a scar. Turns out it is ringworm. They also have ear mites. And an respiratory infection. Also not current in vaccines and no microchip?? The only truth I got last Sunday was that they are both fixed. All of this info was available to my vet when she called the shelter Wild and tame originally adopted them from. Now. The cats are awesome. I am very much in love and do not regret adopting them. But I don't see the need to lie to me to get me to adopt. Plus, when I asked about the price for taking two of the cats she said all she asks is the price she put into them, $135. each cat. What exactly did you put into the cats besides an opportunity to make a profit?????? read more

This place is amazing! They do boarding and rescue animals off the euthanasia list in high kill shelters! They do an amazing job!

I adopted 5 male guinea pigs from all the same wild and tame and am very happy with my little piggies. all of them are well mannered and do not bite and do well with my children. the facility was clean and the staff shows a real love for the animals. i am happy to recommend adopting from them. no animal should be in a shelter. check them out and save a life. i am a firm believer in adopting! read more
