I got bids from 4 different companies, but I knew right away I'd be hiring Green Triangle. Victor knows trees and showed me three of the many Douglas Fir trees that were diseased and had to come down. He walked the property taking notes. We have an acre. He and his crew also got rid of enormous patches of blackberries and scotch broom, clearing the pasture and cleaning up the front and back yards. He had a huge job to do, left the site clean, and did excellent work. He also had appropriate equipment (which was good, because enormous limbs of the overgrown trees were being chipped just about all day). The cost was very reasonable as well. He didnt show up when he said, which is fine, I guess, but it was a shock to find work done when I would come back. The unfortunate thing was that the work that was done was not what we discussed. I asked for cheap, PNW plants that would thrive with no maintenance. He bought me 4 rose plants and planted them while I was gone and charged me almost $200 for them. Not what we discussed. I had to ask him to come back twice when he cleaned my patio/lawn, shoddy work, pics attached. He did come back but left other work that I did not point out. At the very last interaction, he tried to charge me more than what we agreed and I had the number in black in white. He tells me customers usually don't mind. Well, I mind. I want someone I can trust and to execute the agreements we make. Ricky does not do this and does not appear to value his word.

My original review still stands regarding their tree service. They did a good job with the tree removal and yard cleanup, and the quality of the work itself was good. However, after hiring them for ongoing yard maintenance, my experience was unfortunately very different. Communication became difficult, appointments were often missed or significantly delayed, and it was hard to know when they would actually show up. Since we travel frequently, reliability and communication are very important to us, and this became a major issue. I also found their pricing to be noticeably higher than other companies offering similar services in the area. I don't write this to criticize the company unfairly, but I do want to provide an accurate update so future customers can make an informed decision. If you're looking for a one-time tree service project, they may be a good option. However, based on my experience, I would be cautious about relying on them for ongoing scheduled maintenance.

The front of my retaining wall project looks great!…read more But they 'finished' without leveled lawn or top soil, just uneven fill dirt, and covered my water valve access in a foot of dirt. New poured walkway did not have control joints and isn't sloped downhill away from my house. Instead of concrete steps they used retaining wall blocks without caps and left an awkward 3/4 step. Jorge did work with me on some corrections I wanted but I never saw him on site. Issues might have resulted in loss of communication to his team. I've already spent 6 hours cleaning up and leveling what they left me.

In addition to repairing my wall, my concrete lab cracked and he was able to remove and place that section of the concrete. His prices were reasonable and his team was friendly and hard working. They cleaned up after themselves and even helped me pull my plants instead of damaging them. He actually will come out and look, rather than asking for pictures and wasting my time going back and forth. I will be using him for ongoing gardening services.
