An A/C specialist ("FRED") from Superior Comfort Heating & Cooling LLC phoned me on Weds. afternoon April 24th 2024, and he was here before 8am the very next morning (Thurs) to inspect my split-type central A/C system. He quickly determined that the outdoor Condenser Unit and the indoor 'Coil' needed replacement. FRED then contacted my property manager. He returned before 8am the following morning (Friday April 26th) with several large boxes of new A/C equipment (Carrier brand), which he temporarily stored in the garage here. On Saturday morning (April 27th), FRED returned before 8am again, this time with a helper he called his "duct man". They wasted no time in getting to work. I was impressed and amazed by the speed and efficiency with which they worked together. Two hard-working, knowledgeable, experienced individuals working together seamlessly. They completed their work within hours, MUCH more quickly than I expected. They left absolutely no mess behind them. Bryan came out to our home twice during a snow storm to ensure our heat was taken care of. That is a level of kindness and commitment I have never seen before! We have a brand new HVAC system that is about 1 year old (installed by a big HVAC company - worst mistake we could have made). The unit has stopped working at least 4 times since its installation so I finally called Middletown HVAC yesterday because it stopped working again. I called at midnight and Bryan (HVAC expert) was at our house in less than 30 minutes! He installed a new thermostat and went on to another house for a repair. Mind you, a snow storm is coming and he was out repairing units for families until almost 2:45am! The next day we realized the new thermostat stopped working, which is indication that something was wrong with our initial HVAC install (done by another company). It is the middle of a snow storm and Bryan had a SNOW PLOW bring him back to our house in the morning to fix the issue. It turns out the prior company incorrectly wired the unit and the thermostat was frying itself. Bryan ordered the new part we needed, fixed the wiring issue and turned off the fuse to the HVAC to avoid a potential fire. He was so kind and explained every step of the repair and the issues he identified. Other companies said they couldn't send techs out for several days but Middletown HVAC had Bryan out twice in the snow!
