Soooo disappointed and I have this for life now. I'm going to start off by saying Aracely Flores has some beautiful tattoos but I absolutely regret mine. I know what she's capable of and my tattoo reflects minimal effort. I won a 3 hour tattoo giveaway from her. I gave her several ideas and reference photos, including a previous tattoo she did for a different client, but had to give her all creative freedom. She showed me an outline and I went with it. This is one year healed and I hate it so much. I don't like to show my legs now because this looks so cheap compared to what she can do. I'm disappointed because this is permanent and it's a reflection of her as well. I even went back for a second session to color the rose a second time, which she charged me for. I also tipped her a total $150 because I thought it was the right thing to do and boy do I regret that too. I cried at home after taking it all in. I feel like I have to build onto this now to draw attention away from it. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 11am with Ricko and the day of he continued to delay the appointment. 30 minutes prior to the appointment he said he was running 15 minutes behind. At 11:30 we asked how much longer and he said he would be a "few minutes away". Then, 20 minutes later he said, once again, that he was "a few minutes away". After waiting for over an hour we finally decided to cancel. I would recommend to find another tattoo shop seeing as this is a pattern. read more

Ricko is a talented artist for sure but things definitely could have gone better for what I paid him. My appointment was at 11:00. He didn't get there till close to 12:30. My tattoo didn't start till after 4:00 and I didn't get finished till almost 1:30AM. I feel like my whole Saturday was wasted. read more

This family of tattoo artists are such a special pack. They all have their own unique styles and artistic skills. I've been tattooed by almost everyone in the shop and I keep coming back for more. I've never been disappointed in the vibe, quality, and atmosphere. I love these people! read more

I love this shop! First off, I heard about AST through a friend. I'd been looking for a new place to go after moving from CA to TX. As a good starter, I'd reached out to Aracely through Instagram after following for a while to see what sort of work she did. I had a design in mind and made an appointment with her. The overall appointment was great! From the moment you walk in you're greeted in a friendly manner (I've been in other shops before and been given the 'gtfo' look) so that is their first major star. They treat you as a friend. No joke, Aracely treated me professionally and with the respect due all humans, but also has a beautiful handle on social cues. Being able to read a client's mood and personality is huge in a customer service or commission based business, and knowing how to interact and make a client feel welcome and comfortable is tremendous! Aracely has this down! She's nice and hilarious but will also give you her professional opinion on the work she does for you, which is greatly appreciated! She wants the best for you, so listen! The actual experience was great. She was as gentle as she could be when pushing ink in and very clear on after care. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality work in a comfortable and fun setting. read more

I came all the way from Florida to get a tattoo from Aracely. Follow her Instagram and you'll see why :) everyone in the shop is super friendly and welcoming, and will give you an amazing piece of art! I would buy a ticket to San Antonio anytime I can to come back for more. read more

First of all tattoos fucking HURT! This was my 5th one, 2nd big piece but Aracely is a beast. She designs the BEST tattoos, is an amazing human being, a bad ass working mom who makes getting stabbed by needles for 7hrs worth it! I got this tat to represent my not so "normal" family. And she managed to capture a little of the old me, before I was a mom and had time to...we'll do anything lol. Her husband is another artist in their shop and they make you feel like friends/family. We were safe and wore our masks or were more than 6ft apart when we needed a breather (screw you yes I needed a break). They are appointment only. read more

I've been at this place before with an artist who no longer works there but I've continued to follow the artists at AST for possible future projects. I finally found a piece I wanted and requested Brandon to do it. I DM'd him and gave him as much information on the tattoo idea I wanted size/color/ placement/ changes I wanted etc. I booked the appointment and payed him the $50 deposit he requested. The week of my appointment he messaged me saying "he was still working on the design" mind you, I had messaged him 2 1/2 weeks prior and gave specific details. I told him it was fine since we had 4 days before the actual appointment. The day before the appointment he messaged me again saying "he didn't feel comfortable and was not done with the design and wanted ME to reschedule. Long story short, I explained that the appointment day was the only day that worked for me since I had made prior arrangements to make this appointment. I told him I couldn't change it. He continued to imply that my deposit will stay until I rescheduled it. I told him I could not make this work and would like my deposit back since he gave me less than 24 hr notice and he was the one who could not keep his end of the deal. He refused to refund me my deposit. I'm Deeply disappointed in him on how we handled the situation. Took my business somewhere else. read more

Want a piece of art to be proud of? You best not go anywhere else. I can't say enough good things about them. HIGHLY recommended. Adrian & his wife are phenomenal artists & amazing people. They're very personable, take a sincere interest in what you want while also giving their input & give you a piece both of you are proud of. Prices are very reasonable considering how beautiful their work is. I'm working with Adrian on a sleeve & can't wait for our sessions to come! Don't go somewhere else just to get it done sooner, what they give you is unmatched. Trust me. read more

I will be as blunt and honest as I can be. I consider this one of, if not the best, tattoo shops I have ever had the pleasure of going to. I went on the recommendation of a friend of mine for a portrait that I wanted done of my wife. I spoke with the owner, Adrian. Not only is he a HELL of a nice guy, but he was genuinely interested in what I wanted to do, not what HE wanted to tattoo. He spent two hours with me going over ideas and photographs before both he and I found "the one" that we would be using. Great experience so far. Im feeling pumped! Adrian also has the "lightest touch" of any artist I've ever been to. My skin took 4 hours straight because of him. It was as wonderful of an experience as I think I could have asked to. Adrian is also very fair on his prices. I would almost call him competitive for the quality of work he does for what he asks. His work is absolutely top shelf! And I mean TOP SHELF! Check out his work. It speaks for itself. The other artist that was there, but didnt work on me was Ruffo. Ruffo does AMAZING work as well. Don't let his facial tattoos scare you, he is a gentle giant too. These are two seriously talented guys and their work shows! https://www.facebook.com/AllStarTattooSA/photos_stream I didnt get any piercings, but word of mouth is that their piercer is top notch also! Do not hesitate to check out Allstar! read more

I understand that Allstar is a business that must make a profit, but at this point what they did to my wife is steal her money. She started a tattoo with them way before they were ever "big" or "known" every time someone asks her where she got it we always recommend Adrian but after this experience we are 100% done with this establishment. My wife and I are going through an extremely difficult time during COVID, we made the appointment prior to all of the loss we have experienced and given that our lives have taken a stressful turn we had to unexpectedly cancel the appointment the day before. We let Aracely know the day before at 5:11 pm that we needed to reschedule for February she replied with "yes" she never once explained that we would loose the money they asked for to save the date. So the next day we text Aracely to ask what the next date available is march. Aracely replies with "the next one is in March. You will be required to put a deposit down as the last one was lost" Never once did she explain prior to making the appointment, or when we texted saying we needed to RESCHEDULE not CANCEL that they would steal our money and "ask" for more. The saddest part is we have asked to RESCHEDULE before, back when they weren't "big" and this action was never an issue. How is this ever okay???? It's the middle of a pandemic, we rescheduled because we were really hard for money and couldn't spend it as we expected we would be able to when we made it. We didn't want to cancel, we wanted to reschedule, their actions are extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. read more

Let Me start off By saying what a group of talented people. Adrian the tat guru, with the experience and awards to back it up has an amazing portfolio. Ruffo with awesome line and color work a true sleeping giant in the tattoo game. Sean the Apprentice....what a great head of hair. No seriously, this kid is apprenticing under Adrian and is off to a great start. I personally have 2 pieces from Sean and love them. 1st was a cover up that I was really surprised with that I had to come back for a memorial piece. Thanks Sean... Now the beautiful Talented Shanice. (THE PIERCER) this girl knows her stuff. Highly knowledgeable, she will make sure if the piercing you want is safe for your body type. Shanice only uses the highest quality jewelry to pierce with. My fiance has several beautiful pieces from her and only trust Shanice for her piercings. We will continue to drive from Austin to have work done at All Star. read more
