They do not clean their equipment after each use. I witnessed NO ONE wiping down their equipment. The patients are move from one area to another from bars, to table, resistance bands, chairs etc. There was several therapist with various patients and not one thing was ever cleaned or wiped down. Unsafe to use dirty equipment. Therapy maybe good but I can't get passed using unclean equipment I will not be back. I notified the therapist and the front office staff. read more

After fighting and advocating to help me get the physical therapy I need, my insurance allowed 5 sessions with All Star Physical Therapy and I am grateful for each and every session. I learned A LOT, but you have to be willing to ask questions to get that learning. The original Physical Therapist I was assigned was hired/promoted elsewhere and though I was bummed, the next Physical Therapist was equally knowledgeable. Physical therapy is fast-paced though, with a number of knowledgeable therapists assisting you on your journey to recovery. My first-session I was assigned someone who told me what to do, but I didn't understand why until I asked and that's what I needed: to be educated on why I had to try some unfamiliar exercises. And so, I learned. At All Star Physical Therapy, each Therapist is part of a team, with one main Physical Therapist taking the lead and reviewing notes of the assistants. So in my 5 different sessions, depending on the times you schedule, you will have someone different assisting you. I learned breathing technique, challenged my core, learned the importance of strengthening your core (it's not all about your tummy folks, it's about those problems areas around your back and legs, too!). The facility is small, but clean. There is constant cleaning and wiping down surfaces. Someone is always checking on you. And, a timer is ALWAYS going off because you will need to hold for 30 seconds or do the exercises within 30 seconds. Communication is key from both the therapists and patient, and no one was ever pushed (at least I didn't see it or hear it) by anyone. All Star Physical Therapy - Myself after an ALL Star visit, happy - Physical Therapy Near Me - Apple Valley, California

(So far the only thing good is Alonso, he is awesome!) The availability is rubbish. I waited 6 weeks for an evaluation. Two days before said evaluation they had a therapist leave "last minute", so it had to be rescheduled. The guy at the front desk "did me a favor" getting me scheduled to three weeks later. When I complained that it would then be over 8 weeks that I will have waited for my appointment, I was informed that they "can't control what the therapists do". Not very reassuring that the facility providing medical care can't control what their providers do. The receptionist gave the impression that this was acceptable if not standard. It is a testament to health care in the High Desert. In addition, mid day the place is WAY too busy! The proximity they expect patients to do therapy in is unacceptable. You will be nearly touching other patients and at times have to move multiple times mid exercise to accommodate other patients and therapists. It doesn't create a healing environment. Go first thing in the morning! The owners were pretty bold when they named the place. read more

Very poor communication from Physical therapist. I have to pull out words out of his month and has not compassion at all. Quick first visit not very detailled. Bad luck for you that being a physician I do not accept this kind of poor treatment. Unlucky me to have Lisfranc injury and to have to deal with this on top of the injury. Won't be back. read more

I can't say enough good things about the quality of care here. The ladies in reception are great. They are always kind and friendly. They send texts and call to remind me of each appointment. Havent been seen yet, but apparently one of the receptionist has a daughter who is allowed at the front counter where the receptionist sits and is talking very rude to her mom and the whole thing seems very unprofessional. Your daughter shouldn't be allowed back there right at the front window she's about 13 years old and talking to her mom about things that shouldn't be discussed in front of patients in the waiting room. All of them are Stars! I needed continued physical therapy after my first round at another facility for full knee replacement. The first place didn't even recommend for me to continue. So after complaining to Kaiser I asked for more PT and a new place. What a change, what a difference, what a staff! Everyone at All Star is kind, helpful and attentive. I improved tremendously and I hit my goal because they knew what to do and helped me with areas where I was weak. Greg started with intense knee bending when he saw fit. This helped my knee reach new degrees. He is kind, gentle, and knows his job. You don't always get the same PT, so then I got Art. Funny, entertaining, compassionate and super encouraging. Between both guys doing the bending I improved. Not once did I see an employee who didn't want to be there. The girls always assisted and were on task at any given moment. I had not even gone to my first appointment and had issues with scheduling. The office made me an appointment and the day prior I received messages for another time appointment time. When I informed the office that that was not the time they scheduled for me, I was told I was incorrect and made to feel as I was lying about it. Once that was resolved, my first physical therapy appointment was scheduled near the end of the day and it appears they were rushing to clean so they could leave for the day. I had a session that was less than 20 minutes and during the session, while I was doing my exercises the therapy instructed that she was leaving a chair behind me just in case I needed it but a moment later when I felt I needed the chair it was gone she put it away before I completed the exercise. If I did not look back and actually see that the chair was gone and have tried to sit back I could have injured myself even more after just having major spinal surgery. The next encounter I had was again with scheduling, I showed up for my appoint meant and was told that no one was able to see me and that they left multiple messages for me. I showed the receptionist my phone and that no messages had be left and that no calls were showing on my call list from the two days she claimed to have called. She even claimed that she left messages on my husband's phone. Again another lie. But I was told that she had a record of this and made it out as if I was lying. Why would I drive all the way across town and show up for an appointment if she left multiple messages on two phones? During my first appointment as I sat in the waiting room, I witnessed a man walk in and he was told he did not have an appointment for the time that he claimed. The same issue happened with him. It appears that this office has quite an issue with keeping their appointments straight and then making the patient feel inadequate and placing the patient at fault for the mistake. The treatment I received made me decide that I will never walk in their facility again. A patient should never be treated with disrespect and told they are lying especially when they have the proof to back it up. read more

This is my 3rd time at All Star Physical Therapy. I have had two full knee replacements. The entire staff has always been amazing. I have been completely satisfied with the services provided. After my two knee replacements and then therapy, it was like I was a new person. About 10 months ago I started having lower back and hip pain. I went to the doctor and tried all kinds of remedies. Finally I returned to All Star and met with Dr. Kelly. She was the first person to understand my problem and diagnose what was wrong with me. It was such a relief to finally feel like their was a light at the end of the tunnel and it wasn't a train. I feel like I finally have a plan to become healthy again.
