The first experience was ok, though kinda costly because we ordered so many prints (first year family pictures, etc.). The second time around however, wow, their prices increased noticeably. So much so that I could only afford one picture and he didn't even include the digital image of the print that I bought. He stated that he didn't want customers to make their own prints, that he wanted his percentage of all prints. I didn't recall that from the first time, but that might have been the case even then. I think he would have included a low-res copy of the digital image that we purchased, but we weren't interested in that. Anyway, they're alright people. If you're looking for a high quality print photographer and can afford their pricing, then I'd recommend them. If you're just looking for family pictures like we were and don't want to break the bank, I'd (unfortunately) have to recommend that you look elsewhere. They're not family photographers in my opinion, but rather a high-end operation. Good luck whichever you choose!

Brian and Amanda were accommodating with a new photoshoot date and were understanding that we were just not ready to take our little one out of the house so soon. They were extremely professional and prepared for our shoot. They got the best looking cake and balloons I have EVER seen and I just love, love how the photos look. If you decide to do a smash cake shoot, BRING A TOWEL AND MAYBE ONE OR TWO WATER BOTTLES so you can clean up. They tell you to bring this in an email but I thought a bag of baby wipes would suffice, NOPE. I'm super excited to work with them on ordering prints and future photo shoots.

Ever try to get an 18 year old boy excited for a photo shoot?! I kept my expectations level, grabbed a few shirts (she said keep the clothing changes with boys simple!) and headed for the park she suggested. She hit it off with Z the second she met him. She made him laugh and feel comfortable right from the beginning. She has a contagious smile herself and made him feel right at ease. We walked down a trail to a waterfront area I had never even seen before. It was so perfect--totally reminiscent of a place in Washington where we used to live. The shoot only took about 45 minutes, and I can't even express how beautiful all the photos turned out! Her years of experience (moved here from L.A.) and expertise really shine through. She really captured him--right down to the wrinkle in his nose when he laughs. He actually had a great time doing the shoot. Her objective is very clear: she wants sweet memories, love and all the hopes for your child to wash over you whenever you see their picture. And it does. She took her time to get the perfect shots and she was always open to any suggestions/ ideas that I had in mind. She never asked me to do a pose if she didn't do it herself first! I could tell that Kendra genuinely loves what she does. I had an hour and a half of shooting time scheduled with her and we ended up spending a solid three hours together.
