We had our newborn photos done by Eternal Forms Photography. We ended up waiting until the last minute to schedule our baby's pictures. He was born early and in the NICU for a few weeks, so by the time he was discharged we needed to schedule the pictures ASAP. The owners, Joseph and Michelle, are awesome! We did our maternity shoot with Eternal Forms Photography and could not have been happier with their professionalism and dedication to making sure that we got the results that we wanted. Firstly, I'm an outdoorsy kind of girl but was expecting to be in my third trimester right in the middle of summer in Texas. Even so, I really wanted the photos to be taken outside in nature as that is just what feels right to me. Eternal Forms was the only photographer willing to do my whole photo shoot outside, we shot just before sunset and it was glorious. Even though Eternal Forms was already my number 1 pick as photographer based on their portfolio, I had reached out to several providers in the general Austin area to get a feel for the market. I found that none of the others were willing to work with me on an outdoor shoot in summer in Texas for fear of me not being able to handle it, fainting, or that my make up and hair would not last the distance. Spoiler alert - none of those things happened... Eternal Forms were also able to provide recommendations on the best outdoor setting for a shoot - letting me know about a park in Georgetown that I wasn't even familiar with. It was perfect! Very few people around so I didn't feel dorky doing some poses for the session, plus the trees, water, and scenery were just gorgeous. A really HUGE thank you to them for helping me out with the dress that I chose - I ended up renting a dress for the maternity shoot rather than buying one myself. Seemed like a good idea until the dress came in and it was clear that some ladies had come before me that had made an error in the sizing when measuring themselves. The dress was badly stretched and misshapen from the waist up. We had to get inventive with Hollywood tape but even then it was sitting strangely. The dress had also been cleaned one too many times and one part of the dress was faded while the other part was not, effectively creating a two tone look that was not welcome. They took the time post-shoot to help correct the images so that my day and investment was saved. This no doubt required a great deal of care and attention and I suspect took them hours to correct. Lastly, there was one particular picture in their portfolio that I really wanted to reproduce and they helped me do just that. I love all of the photos that they took but they really nailed The One. There is also another picture that was a suggestion of theirs that ended up being my second favorite of the whole shoot. I would thoroughly recommend using Eternal Forms for your maternity shoot - they will find ways to get you the result that you want but will also go above and beyond to get a result that is even better than you had hoped for. We did our newborn photos with them yesterday. While we were there they also took sibilant pictures which included my 3 yr old, my 18 month old, and my newborn. As well as pictures of the whole family. They were extremely patient when taking all of the pictures even though my toddlers were getting a little antsy, and we had to take a few breaks to feed baby. They were also very thorough and made sure I got everything I wanted. They took the time to make sure they got the perfect shot with each pose/set of props that we used while there. We had such a wonderful experience with Michelle and Joseph! Our newborn photo session took place at their studio and was very relaxed and comfortable. They allowed us to be creative and worked to capture a few concepts that we had in mind, in addition to the traditional newborn poses. Joseph and Michelle took our engagement and wedding ceremony photos. These beautiful images captured such great memories that we love to remember every day as we see them around our home. One amazing shot from the engagement set that truly epitomizes our relationship was given to us as a poster sized canvas print for a wedding gift and it adorns a wall in our main living space. That should say a lot because our home is only 214 square feet! Working with them was a joy. They really listened to us... Pausing for effect there. For the engagement photos, they took us to some great locations around Round Rock that told the story we wanted to tell in images better than we ever imagined. When it came time for the big day, Joseph worked his butt off and captured so many important moments, but I don't even remember him being there during the ceremony because he was never a distraction or in the way. The diligence, care, and love they put into their work is really an inseparable part of the product.
