WOW! I don't know why I didn't check these reviews before hiring them! Horrible and the cleaner was very unprofessional! After, I tried to call no answer & and then I wrote a long email 8 days ago about how the servie was bad: please see below: Wasn't happy with your service. I tried to call you to let you know but you didn't answer. I won't be using your service again. Your cleaner broke my mirror, didn't do a good job, didn't clean inside the microwave, didn't clean the shades and didn't do the sun room which was a HUGE problem. When cleaning the offices didnt't dust any of the monitors, didn't clean the glass on the outside door that we spoke about. Only 1 person came and she gave a lot of attitude. She was unhappy with me only paying $125. I didn't ask for my money back I just wanted to speak with the owner! I hired them for a DEEP cleaning and was very unhappy with the service. She was so nice and professional on the phone and then it went down hill as soon as the cleaner got there and said No I won't do that, and No i won't do that.. This company is out there to steal your money. They quote you a price range on the phone to get your business and when they arrive (an hour later than scheduled time) they demand double the price. The price is by time and not work. So if in 2 hours the house is not clean they leave. Jorgine the owner is unprofessional and does not take responsibility for performing a bad job. Very unprofessional, I made an appt weeks in advance, only to have them call the morning of trying to change the appt. They tried to change to the next day in the middle of the day, I explained I already changed my plans and made arrangements. We went back and forth - finally deciding on a time, only to have them text me an hour later saying they are coming 3 hours early. I already explained I would be at work and that time would not work. I have been using the services of all star maid at my home for over 6 months now. They have been very reliable and clean. Then come on time (never been late), send in a 2 member crew and finish up the cleaning very quickly and very neatly. The crew is also very friendly and adjust the cleaning to our needs. I stick to the same crew always so that they know what needs to be done at my house. The owner who co-ordinates is also very good and accommodating. Since I work, I request for some schedule changes and they have accepted it without any issue. They bring their own equipment and cleaning material and hence there is no extra expense also, like few other cleaners I have used before. I have used this cleaning service multiple times. They show up when promised, are cheerful, and do the work in a professional and thorough fashion. In each of the three properties we have been in in New Jersey, I have hired them to clean the property first for use, and then on a monthly basis. The price is reasonable and the workers do a nice job. I continue to use them monthly. Other than having to contact by text (I prefer a phone call), I would rate them 5 stars. read more

Not worth the expense. They do not arrive on time, when they arrive they quote you for the length and the amount , not accounting for the 6-7 times that we had to tell the girls to re-do the task (dusting, cleaning underneath the furniture, floor boards, lamps, etc). Their mop looked dirty. Had to reclean the floors because the floor was dirtier and spottier. Their products have an overpowering smell. Do not waste your money or time. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. I recently moved and I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. I hired this service to do a deep cleaning of the new house for $40/hr. I chose them as they advertise using green/organic products. (They don't). I was advised it would likely take 6 hours to clean my home. Two women showed up and were here for 3.5 hours when they said they were done. I knew that was impossible so I started looking around and found that they missed the fridge/freezer and left gook on the bathroom cabinets and inside the kitchen cabinets. I asked them to redo these areas. I also asked them to reclean a toilet that still had a ring and they said they couldn't get it out! (Apparently they couldn't get them out of the other two toilets either). Turns out I was supposed to pay them $42/hr PER PERSON which was never mentioned. So I paid them double and they left. There are still kitchen cabinets that have crumbs etc in them and the bathroom cabinets were definitely never even opened. I called the owner who was going to "rearrange" the day so that someone could come back and fix the problem. She never called. I called back and explained that my house is still too dirty for me to unpack and again I am very pregnant and every day that goes by that I can't unpack is a day I could end up in labor! She advised me that I shouldn't have paid if I wasn't happy and I should have looked harder before I paid them. I didn't realize this was a bartering service or that I had to watch her employees do their jobs. That is her job, not mine! I'm the customer, she's the boss. I sent her pictures of the grime left behind and she offered me .5 hrs worth of money I paid. I accepted the money, as I figure I can't force her to change her mind on what is clean and what is dirty. I would hate to see what any of these ladies' houses look like!! The woman on the left in the picture was especially useless. She "cleaned" my countertop twice and it was still dirty!!! She was responsible for every area that needed to be recleaned immediately and I assume for the ones that are still lacking. I am still so angry I paid $270/originally $337 and I have to pay someone else to come out to reclean my entire house because I don't trust that these ladies did too much except the areas I watched them clean. read more

Horrible experience. I had to spend 2 hours re cleaning the entire apartment after they had already returned 1 additional time. They also knocked a tiled soap dish off the wall and it broke in half. They put the tile with half the soap dish back in the wall, left the other half on the sink and never made mention to me. When I discovered and called the owner she completely invalidated the fact they damaged my property and offered to have the crew return again. Exactly what I did not want, the crew that did a horrible job cleaning my apartment, damaging it, to come back again. Deeply disappointed, if they were accredited with the BBB I would file a complaint. I am considering small claims court for the damages. Very dissatisfied with the service. I am only posting this review to help others in the future. They charged me $80 an hour. Did not clean my kitchen sink, two bathroom sinks. I cleaned along with them. My entire house was picked up prior to their arrival. I have a normal service every week so my house was in good shape. I engaged their service because my normal service was unable to service me for one week. One of the workers could not understand English or follow directions. The same worker told me she vacuumed as crumbs and lint were on the carpet. They were very slow and clearly were never trained. I paid them $256.00 for three hours and ended up doing it myself. They did not make beds, change sheets, clean soap dishes. Forgot to clean my laundry room. I had to watch them every second to make sure they were cleaning because they just did not know what to do. After three hours the house was still not cleaned and I asked them to leave. The owner tried to defend that they were skilled when clearly they were not. I should have known better because they were available within an hour of calling. It was a terrible experience and I urge anyone thinking about using them to have a clear understanding of what your definition of clean is. read more

Wasn't thrilled with them. Hired them as a service to clean an EMPTY house I was moving into. So you figure you'd pay most attention to the things that need cleaning when someone moves in... Bathroom tub was still dirty, kitchen cabinets, counters, & stove must have been just lysol-ed to feel wet, not actually cleaned! Found out they ended up using MY rolls of paper towels I had left there. And they charged $15 more than the estimate because in their mind they stayed an extra 10 more minutes! When I walked back in, guy was on his cell phone!!! Truly disappointing! No wonder it's a "cash only" company! read more

I hope I can give zero star but one is the minimum i have to provide. I asked for quote almost 1.5 months in advance for my apartment move-out cleaning services. After lots of follow ups i got the quote for 3 man hours at around $129(all taxes). The lady "Georgine" works from home always and there is always a background noise of kids and it's hard to make out anything. I asked for the confirmation email which she never sent....I sent her couple of emails for follow up but no response....every time she will say that i am away from work...call me or text me later....i was not sure so I hired another maid services. I got the appointment during end of Aug 2013 when i was not going to be there. So i asked my neighbors to supervise the maid service. The maid service that i appointed somehow couldn't co-ordinate very well during one day before the service. As i was working away from NJ(in chicago-one time zone away)...mess happened...the maid service as and when called me up..they always said maid service...not with their full name...then All Star maids all of sudden turned up on that day when my original maid service was suppose to come. My neighbors let them work and All star should have told me that they are stealing this opportunity from other good maid services...they sent two maids with one supervisor and willing to charge supervisor hours also which i refused over the phone...but the confusion was still there...i dont know how well All star maids cleaned up as i am yet to find out my from apartment folks(in case they charge me up for some unclean stuff). Later my original maid showed up(may be they were bit late) and none of my neighbors were there to let them in. So finally All Star maids lady "Georgine" started asking me for money....i already provided her my credit card details to her...but it seems she was not inputting it right and couldn't charge me...i was in the office meetings...so i politely asked her to call me after 5:00 PM Chicago time...she got mad on me...starting shouting and yelling that i am un-professional....she should not have sent the maids etc....she wrote a lot of foul emails and threatened to send collection agency and publish it on social media to bad mouth about me....as it was a long weekend my credit card company folks couldn't be reached and then i called them up on Tuesday - come to know what happened and then called Georgine and asked her to input the credit card details properly...she did and got the money...she is very rude and impolite...not at all professional...i bet she will never get any repeat business....stay away from All star maids...they are not worth anything....may be the maids could be good...but Georgine is somebody whom you never want to deal with. read more
